This looks no different than the DS Game....I can also see why this is compared to LBP...Sorry Nintendo I love your games but this draws nothing new to me
The level design of New Super Mario DS wasn't particularly good, and this looks even worse.. Too many big barren areas, seems to have been designed for 4 people.
Still, I'll probably get it and play through it with at least one friend. Assuming it's LONGER than the DS one.

LBP is nothing like the origional Mario, except for perspective. LBP was totally new, sorry... That being said, this looks weak- seems old, and on top of that, it looks pretty floaty. I can't beleive Nintendo announced this like it was some Huge release. Of course, Nintindo fans think anything with Mario is the cat's Pajamas( that's right, I said cat's Pajamas)...
I've read some impressions of this and seen some footage and it looks awesome! I'm a little confused that they couldn't put on a little more detail to the game to truly motivate why they're doing this for Wii and not for DS again but it seems like a must-have either way. Some calls it the best game on the showfloor and I've even heard people say that it's like a true sequel to Super Mario World.
