Detective Sebastian Castellanos will have to descend into nightmare in order to regain his life and family. Tango Gameworks and Bethesa announced The Evil Within 2, the sequel to the psychological survival horror game from Shinji Mikami. The title will be out on October 13.

I really want to know what's the game engine. Is it id tech 6 like Wolfenstein 2 or the rumoured UE4? It looks a little like id tech 6 but im not sure

It's not directed by Mikami, so I'm not sure I'll get it.

He's the executive producer, im pretty sure this is probably being directed by one of his 3 proteges that he has been training for a while to take over. Also didn't the trailer reassured you even a little bit that the game is still gonna be crazy?

It does look like UE4 to me but why would they switch to that engine when they can get their "house" engine from ID Software ?

its directed by Mikami where did you get that information , & regarding it just oh my god the first one was game that's taking you to the root of horror gaming.....the evil within 2 ...kept us waiting hah !

Japanese developers and their crazy character designs. The woman in pic 3 looks like she has a dirty pair of undercrackers stuck to her head via copious amounts of PVC glue.
