Love the idea for this.
The setting is one of my favorite like Bram Stoker's Dracula or Van Helsing type.
I just hope the game is 3rd person (FPS wouldnt bother me that much) and it would be nice if each character has special magic powers like Jericho to twist the gameplay up than just gunning.

So some sort of weird alternate history deal with tesla guns, blimps and werewolves isn't enough? We need magic as well? No thanks, just jeep it steampunky :)

I need something other than just pick a new gun and then shoot, rinse and repeat, especially when there is monsters in it.
I think having magic spells from ancient scrolls to be able to help them to fight these ancient demons they are fighting is definitely something good to go along with all the weapons they have.

But why?
This trailer clearly show that guns are the main concept, against some monsters, this are regular people with guns not some wizards of some ancient time.
Obviously i don't know what the game is like at all, but i imagine the steampunk type setting is more inviting for gadgets and sort of creates a nice contrast between the monsters and the supernatural vs the sciency/industrial feel of the guns. Magic would kinda put a damper on that i think, but like i said, we know next to nothing about the game. Might be nothing like what i'm hoping for :P

I agree, untill we know exactly what kind of gameplay it has we can only speculate.
