looks awful
For a game called "bodycount" i was expecting boarderlands stats and numbers flying everywhere
Ice-T bitches.
Looks like they were all talk. I know its pre-alpha but that looked like a PSN/XBLA game.
Isn't this the sorta semi-sequel to Black? That game wasn't very good.
shame on you>->
Will.Not.Touch.
did you just say black wasnt very good 0_0!!!!!!!!!!

Not much hope for this unless massive improvements happen in both graphical and gameplay departments, kind of looks like the shit on Bulletstorms's bloodstained boots...
Keep in mind that most textures and models are likely to be placeholders and that the game is far from being feature complete, a lot will change in the coming months.
I can't compare it to other games since I rarely see unscripted pre-alpha footage but I interpret it as the devs feeling confident about how the game looks in this stage. If they had problems, they could have released some photoshop bullshots.
You should appreciate the honesty of the developers releasing pre-alpha gameplay footage. Most other devs would release bullshots at this point of production.
The worst is yhe unispired look and th explosions aren't all that greta after a generation of Bad Company and Red faction: Guerilla. They are underwhelming at best.

Yup, Black was terrible not just "not very good"
As long as they add more destructible objects in Bodycount - this again will be the best thing about their game...

so terrible it aint,FACT.
gameplay was solid as hell.
the only real minor could be the story.
Is Cop Killer gonna be the theme song for the game?

There were some great FPS games to play in 2006. We had games like Halo 2, Half Life 2, Call of Duty 2 and Battlefield 2 for more than a year (or two in some cases). We had the 360 launched too! Black was ultimately garbage next to the best in genre titles that came out surrounding its release. The game really wasn't very good, and since this game wants to be its sequel, I expect it will follow in its footsteps.
I'd buy it day one.

Didn't Criterion make Black?
Codemasters is a whole other development team.
I see. Thanks Wikipedia. It's not the entire that made Black, just "many" of the same people are. Whatever the hell "many means".
from Wikipedia
"In a recent interview, co-creator and designer Stuart Black revealed that plans for "Black 2" were underway, but are now scrapped due to differences with Electronic Arts. Currently, Stuart Black and many of the developers of Black are now working on "Bodycount", a "spiritual successor" to the game which will be developed by Codemasters and released on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 during Q1 2011."
I probably would have scrapped it to.
