I'm glad they finally confirmed it takes place before MGS4 and reconfirmed that it's Raiden. I was getting tired of seeing people's stupid theories. Anyway it should be a decent game but I'm not happy about the multiplatform thing. Who knows what'll end up getting cut to keep the two versions similar (cough*FF13)
graphically the game looks awesome. Still need to see some proper gameplay to decide what to think of it but knowing the MGS series I'm sure it will have plenty of style and good humor.
I just need to see a lot more before I get too hyped.
And Sath, i've never seen anyone talk so much about "badass ninjas" ;-p
I'm still wondering why MGS4 couldn't be done on 360. The graphics in this game already look better than MGS4 and it's on 360. The only thing I can figure is that this game will be shorter and have far less dialogue than MGS4.

How do you figure? It's been two years since MGS4 and this won't be out until next year. All the numbered games have been 3-4 years apart so this is no different. If you're taking Peace Walker into account then I guess it's fairly soon, but if they are all good then why does it matter how many they put out?
I have high hope for this game, I have paid top dollar for games of lesser quality, so unless it sucks really bad, I'll get this. (Money/economy) also factors into this decision).

Those who are worried for another MGS2 Raiden, dont worry.
The guy behind the project said we will see MGS4 Raiden and try and make him as awesome as he was in MGS4 cutscenes.

It sure will be, you heard of the grey fox story, it was horrifying for him to experience and wasn't it a similar case that raiden was forced into this? this is going to be epic..

This is for me the biggest surprise of the E3. Not that I didn't know of it, but how great it looks. Technically the cut-where-you-want is amazing and never seen before in a game.
...never played Afro Samurai I take it. The game looks good though, should be a blast.
