Duno, I thought the music was shite to be honest, graphically it looks ok i suppose, but it lacks wow factor.

Terrible looking, i'm a bit suprised.
It's a PSN title and a "stopgap" until the proper sequel is released. What did you expect it to look like?

I mean, it's better looking than most XBLA titles.

I thought it looked fine. WipeOut is all about going 3000 miles and hour and blasting the crud out of the blips that get in your way!

If it's one of their $6 games- I'll buy it, no doubt.

I think it'll be a bit more than six bucks. :)

Wish they'd've gone for a bit more minimalistic look (like some of the tracks from Pure). But looks schweet nonetheless.

I bet it's more expensive too. Knowing that a real Wipeout game is coming I'm not sure I'll buy this. But if it's cheap and has online multiplayer, I'm there.

Definitely has online multiplayer.

Always liked Wipeout, but I would really like to see more creative tracks this time.

Best thing about the trailer was the music :D

Who's responsible for the music? If it's not Cold Storage then I dont like it, if it IS Cold Storage then I.. like it less than their earlier work ;)

I like my techno a bit more accessible... poppy. So bring on the Tiesto, Sasha, Junkie XL, et al.

Music shite? no chance m8 ;/ always remember playing 2097, stoned with Underworld - pearl's girl blasting out....quality! ahhhh those were the days....

Shouldn't the 1st "US PSN" be "EU PSN"?

My PSN dl is almost done.

Edit - I was quite impressed, the environments are really nice, and all the detail is very crisp. Very very crsip in fact, almost no aliasing bar the most distant objects.

LOL! Lemme guess... an Aphex Twin fan? :)

But psychotropics can make anything more tolerable I guess.

*imagines playing Wipeout with airdrawndagger droning on in the bkgrnd* Ah, good times...

Yea, it seems they found a method to make the Cell do the Anti-Aliasing. Killzone and Metal Gear Solid 4 looked pretty jag-free aswell (not as much as Wipeout HD though).

Much like all other "big" games (Tekken 5, Gripshift, Super Stardust) so far at PS Store, I doubt Wipeout HD will cost more than the usual 7.99-9.99$

(not as much as Wipeout HD though).
I'm guessing that's mostly thanks to Wipeout HD being in 1080p while, AFAIK, MGS4 & Killzone are NOT.
