If what Peter Molyneux said in regards to combat this could be like a rpg assassin's creed with magical powers :D

Why upload them when they are months OLD, except that castle that is couple of weeks old.

The art looks interesting, but until we start seeing some in-game footage, this is just some artists handywork. And seeing as this game isn't destined to hit the shelves till the end of this year, I guess we won't be seeing any real footage for a while..

OLD OLD OLD OLD
Guess what? Sometimes I don't see every single thing that has ever been posted somewhere else on the web. When something is posted on an official press site, I check if WE have this stuff online, I don't have time to check somewhere else.

Very nautical theme in the two male characters. Travelling between countries would be awesome.

Their going for the very Renaissance look. I love the addition of low tech gun powder weapons. Thats gonna make the game interesting.

Reloading taking upwards of a minute for each round should prove fun for the ADHD generation.

Looks like it is a cold world...I can't wait for Fable 2.

Besides the castle, I hadn't seen any of these images. I'm loving this so far. Let's see how well they translate the concepts to the game.

is it using Unreal engine 3 or its own

The real game better look this good.

P.S. "But I don't wanna be a pirate!"

It's using its own engine with some middleware stuff (Havok). And the combat will be Real-time.

Always loved the artwork these guys pump out.

The game world of Fable was fantastic. Small but really, really detailed.
This time around I'm hoping for a much, much bigger world with the same kind of detail... probably asking for alot there but hey its ok to dream!

Havok is just the physics engine. It needs a main engine to and I am guessing they have there own because they said they are redisigning theengine for Fable 2.

New for me! I'll take it :)
If you've seen it months ago, please hold your moans, probably 95% of us haven't. Did anyone like the first fable? the loadtimes and frequency were a total disaster in my opinion.

About the game

alimokrane On a different subject all together. if only the entire world acted like this: [url] (12 minutes ago)
  • Tiz
Tiz Gears 4 is a refinement of the Gears 3 formula, which is great if you loved Gears 3. @alimokrane: I'm partial to the Embar & Overkill. (26 minutes ago)
  • alimokrane
alimokrane @Phaethon360: I agree on the enemy variety, definataly but I simply love the little tricks and bits they added here and there. Best weapon has to be the DropShot. Ball of fun! (28 minutes ago)
  • Tiz
Tiz But with regards to variety, do you mean enemy variety? Because I agree. That is spot on. Gears 3 had so many different Locust & Lambent classes which kept Horde rounds fresh, Gears 4 does not. (48 minutes ago)
  • Tiz
Tiz PhaeKO outta nowhere. Rod said he wanted to do it right before doing it different and 343 were the blueprint for this which is why a lot of the Gears community still remains intact. (51 minutes ago)
  • Phaethon360
Phaethon360 That and the variety just isn't there. So many different enemy and weapon types in Gears 2, which was the high point of the series for me. Gears 3 wasn't bad but it was on the downswing for me. (55 minutes ago)
  • Phaethon360
Phaethon360 I really dislike Gears 4. Horde 3.0 was a disappointment, and the mechanics haven't changed much since Gears 1. After playing the remake so soon it just felt like more of the same. (57 minutes ago)
