Choosing a release date has always been a strategic choice and Ubisoft has proven it once again. Far Cry 5 is now the fastest selling game in the franchise history, which bodes well for the future of the series. Because we didn't have time to do it before, here are 4 environment videos recorded on PC (4K/ultra) to celebrate the publisher's success.

Yes... but you also can see the limitations of the Dunia Engine... it‘s a pitty that the devs didn‘t use the Snowdrop Engine.

If someone from Ubisoft is reading here please patch the game and remove the scripted kidnappings, it ruined the game, how Ubisoft thought that this's a good idea, they're just annoying and frustrating.

Dunia Engine is still very capable if you still remember Watch Dogs E3 2012. In that moment, the game was running on a Dunia build between Far Cry 2 and 3. Ubisoft never utilize its full potential due to obvious hardware limitations..

To some point you are right... but the Snowdrop Engine is at least one generation ahead considering assets or texture quality, though FC5 does look good, especially on PC.

PC you mean, and yes PC has always flexed it's muscles since the days of crysis.

graphics look great just not my favorite game pre-se. not much for the series. would like to see the next splinter cell game with comparable environments though.

Can you play this on ultra at 60fps on gtx 1080ti, I have assassins creed origins and that runs like shit, on my system had to lower res to 2k, and turn aa down to low to get half decent fps.

Yes you can... i have an overclocked custom MSI Gaming X GTX 1080Ti and i play the game in 4K@ ultra settings - only shadows in „high“, my framerate is always above 60 Fps

Well, it depends, on my rig, with an OC 1080 Ti, lowering shadows isn't enough to maintain a completely steady 60 fps. it's probably possible for some, but not for me.
