Xbox 360 PS3 PS2 Xbox

EA released another trailer of Fight Night Round 3. It's probably from the Xbox 360-version of the game, and it all looks good.

I'm really unsure about which version it is. It doesn't have those X360 effects, like blood and stuff, but on the other hand it looks too good to be a Xbox game.

Of course the PS3 E3 trailer was just an animation played in real-time(like any other real-time tech demo). This is the real deal.

The stills do look geat, but the animation looks quite artificial to me...

amazing graphics but the animation really DESTROYS it.

what happened to the fighters they've shown at E3? you could see them breathing and they've changed facial animation with every move... ?!

That was a tech demo, Anyone who has played a Fight Night game knows that the animation shown in the tech demo is not possible.

Anyone who knows anything about animation knows that kind of fluid animation is impossible.

It stil looks great, and so is the animation, if you think thats bad you obviously havnt played the fight night games.

If you go to gamespot.com, they have gameplay footage which is way better than this.

yes i agree itsnt just a matter of animations...the overall models look worse...

remember the "tech demo" for madden ? the game never endedup looking like that.

u do realise that this is just the beginning of the next generation and that games COULD improve over its lifecycle?

I agree. Play Round 2 and you will see how similar it is. And all you people saying the ps3 version will look better, do you really think that EA will bother making more than one version of a game. Maybe the PS3 version will have 1080p but that would be the only difference. Just look at Fifa 06 on PS2 and Xbox, no difference there.

that should be what "might" be possible.

is seemed to me that the peeps above are comparing a real world game running on final hardware
to a "tech demo" running on vapourware ? its like comparing water to cheese ?

come on now.... 100 years ago we didn't even have powered flight so that's stretching it. I'd say we're 5 years from photo-realistic full animation and lighting with gameplay. 100 years from now... well that's when we're plugging our brain directly into the X recepticle on the wall with our USB 29.0 photonic cable and playing games directly from the microsoft virtual gamestore via our cereberal cortex.... problem is they'll only have 100,000 of the cables available at launch :/
