First images from World Airforce

First images from World Airforce

Taito announced World Airforce during the Xbox Summit, and they today released the first screens from it. As you probably already know by reading the title, this is an air combat game - and of course, kind of remind me of the Ace Combat-titles on Playstation 2. No info seem to have been released, neither an releasedate.
Update: Added 720p-versions of the images.

I was impressed with Sega's new After Burner showing at E3, but this looks really nice aswell. Looks like it will be a big contender against Namco's long running Ace Combat series.

I just hope they don't mess this up with terrible Japanese rocky guitars. Gimme a loungy soundtrack instead. How about 'Blue Skies' from Groove Armada? :)

GriftGFX script extender functionality (at least temporarily) (52 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Even games with robust toolkits are often enhanced by third party tools. Skyrim is a good example. There's still a lot of folks playing the original version on the PC because the re-release broke (52 minutes ago)

GriftGFX Ironically the last thing I had to hack to get to run correctly was a Microsoft Game Studios title. That bodes well for the future :P (54 minutes ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth i have run some injectors/hacks on a few games to fix certain limitations of resolution or such, but not since Dark Souls 1. (59 minutes ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth i rarely use mods. last time was xcom2, and that supports mods out of the box. I'm not that into replacing models in WWE, GTAV or SFV. But ofc, for people who live for that stuff it's not a good thing (1 Hour ago)
