Problem with these sports games, for the most part, they kinda never look like they are getting better. They just look like they stay the same, never looking spectacular. Still no cloth physics? Look at the shorts that have massively high static electricity that they balloon around the players legs lol.
With Michael Jordan on the 2K11 cover alone, this garbage doesn't stand a chance this year. And 2K is the only Basketball game that seems to make vast changes every year.
You guys need to look at the gameplay videos of NBA elite. They have a new stick system that is a much deeper version of the stick system used in NBA 2K series and it really looks very deep and very impressive. I've been a long time fan of the 2K series and always thought it was far superior to the nba live series, but this new gameplay footage of nba elite being shown has been VERY impressive to say the least.
they brought in a bunch of new guys to overhaul the game and use a lot of what worked well for the remake of the NHL games and used it for the basketball system.
I think this new gameplay system might just put the EA basketball games back on the map. And this is coming from a HUGE 2K fan mind you.
