Xbox 360 PS3

EA Sports released this new trailer of Fight Night Round 4 where the producer shows a bit more details about the boxers and the game's physics compared to Fight Night Round 3. Also worth mentioning, the WMV version of the video runs at 60 fps, just like the game.

Truly amazing attention to detail, the best i've ever seen in any game, all running at a glorius 60fps!

why is it so shiny? i mean..i can understand they are trying to showcase sweat, but still looks plastic sometimes.

The game does look great though, was a big fan of fight night 3, except i had to change the controller setting to enable punching with the buttons ;P

looking forward to this game though, had so much fun with FN3 in my uni days

I'm a bit sceptical about those physics. It looks like it will add some randomness to the gameplay :/. But graphics are incredible. 60fps FTW!

I see that EA's holding back a lot of the footage and screenshots of Ali, Tyson, Lewis, and Evander. I for one am going to buy the game simply because of the added fighters. It's also nice to see that they strived for blatant improvement over an already great game that was Fight Night Round3. I'm still playing until this day and marveling at it's detail. I just don't seem to hate EA as much this generation as I did last geneneration. They've truly stepped up their game. If only they'd let the NFL exclusive license go and allow some competition from NFL2K, I'd have a little more respect for them. NBA Live and NBA 2LK compete just fine. There's room for both.

I wanna buy this just to let it show-off, on atract mode so it can wow people.
Best closed "photo-realistic" environment visuals ever made.

oh, and its not an exclusive... gonna cry people? ;_;

Simply amazing. This type of stuff is the reason why I'm such a physics whore. The comparison footage tells it all. A lot of the punches in Round 3 barely looked like they were connecting compared to the ones in Round 4. I really wish more games would place greater emphasis on physics and animation.

Also, maybe it was just the arenas they showed, but it seemed like Rd4 had much more natural and dynamic lighting too. Can't wait for the demo!

I JIZZED IN MY PANTS! Unless if this game skimps out on content like other EA sports games, this seems like a must-have.

HOLY CRAP IS ALL I CAN SAY!

Hopefully they have a wide variety of environments too, as long as they maintain local-vs mode then im happy hands down this game looks wiked

i thought FNR3 was awesome, but FNR4 showcases stuff i didnt even realize i was annoyed at like the invisible wall i mean you really didnt mind it while boxing the crap out of your friend but this looks friggin wicked.

And im sorry the "canned knockouts" and spit/blood may have been redundant but we loved t every time randomizing it and addng physics just ROCKS!

My favorite part was the KO when the frigging boxers head swung at the camera and was actually looking right at the screen when he passed out lol

But that's exactly why mashing will be now the best strategy. In FNR3 you were able to forsee if your blow will connect or not. In FNR4 it seems to be pretty random IMO.
I hope I'm wrong as I love Fight Night :)

There shouldn't be anymore button mashing. They took out the ability to map the punches to the face buttons. Now everyone will be equal and have to use the analog stick.

By 'mashing' I ment swinging the analog freely :). It seems in FNR4 hit connection will be pretty random.

^ I beleive the point is that you will need to time and aim your punches better this time around. I am SO happy they removed that annoying counter system. This is easily my most anticipated title this year...

For my personal take on how good this looks, I can only say that until this point in time, I've never even considered buying a boxing game in my life, ever, and nor did I ever intend to. Until now.

Looks absolutely fucking incredible. Imagine playing that with a few beers and a few mates round, and lets not forget the Live experience. EA are outdoing themselves with this.

looks amazing, little things i'm not keen on like the now cardboard looking shorts and the excessive sweat (it looks like they've come out of a swimming pool) also faces somehow look WORSE then they did in round 3, likenesses are way off. but as a whole it looks phenominal. i just hope it isnt as bare bones as it was in round 3, in terms of modes it was servearly lacking.

Hey but randomness IS boxing! Sure, hit percentages might go down, but that'll make you all the more frenzied to knock someout down when he's about to go down!

I only agree on the likeness with you, they definitely look the way a person would look, but it does not really look like the boxer. Meh, but I guess the character creation is going to be good and hopefully another 1000 achievement pts!
