For Honor certainly didn't do much for me when it was announced at E3 last month, but I guess others did actually enjoy its reveal, as shown by this "accolades" trailer.
It really sucks it doesn't have a single player. Of course it is Ubi$oft and caution is advised but I would give it a try (don't like multi, pvp stuff at all).
Im very disapointed, this is online only. But I must say, I love its look and the battle feeling. I want to play as a samurai. Dont know, if I can trust UBI.
They said it has campaign as well, no word on how they plan on doing that but it definitely has campaign/single player.
I for one have been waiting for such a game for a LONG time, and first i thought it was MP only unyil the devs said it got campaign so i got hyped.
I love the animations and the visceral combat but yet realistic approach to it and the 1v1 personal combat.
I think it looks awesome gameplay wise (and of course graphics wise). This looks like some of the best melee MP gameplay I've ever seen. We'll see if the graphics look like this when the game is released, but I'm personally excited. If it indeed has a SP campaign as well then I am definitely hyped.

Ubisoft...
I remember when all their titles slayed. What happened to that
That time never existed. Even remotely. They had a few good games back on the PS2 and perhaps the first few Assassin's Creeds were passable, maybe Splinter Cell ought to be mentioned too, some rayman. But all of those games are drops in the shit sea that is the Ubisoft games library.
I don't even want to click on the link to view it because the screenshot on the top is too Dark-Souls-esque to justify an unbiased feeling for me. Call it a prejudice, arrogance or a hunch if you like, while I'm not believing in Ubisoft anymore.
There were days when Splinter Cell and Rainbow Six were golden. Rayman on Dreamcast, Rogue Spear, Ghost Recon, all those early 2000 games. First iterations of Prince of Persia and Assasin's Creed were good

Disagreed Meg

Dreamcast and Xbox 1 was a sweet spot
My only point was that at the same time they were shoveling out weapons-grade shitware. A few good games, a whole lot of garbage too.
Nonsense Multiplayer Game. with good looking graphics on the TRAILERS only.
For fuck sake Ubi give people some useful games, sometimes people like to work their minds in games. But lately all your games is the same shit, and focusing only on multiplayer.

I was so scared when they first announced it because of how dangerously close it was conceptually to an idea I have been scribbling for a while, then it turned out to only really take one aspect of a minor gameplay mechanic and I was okay.
Still, would love to see more on this and the campaign, it feels as if they took a lot of inspiration from the Rift missions in Unity and turned them into a full-fledged title with Samurais!

Ubisoft HAS come out with some awesome games hater. The Far Cry series and Assassin's Creed games are fantastic. Critic and User ratings show most others are in agreement. Add on the Prince of Persia games, Watchdogs and South Park: Stick of Truth and you've got a well rounded studio.
As for the game, looks awesome. Not too concerned about the graphics. If the gameplay is as fun as it looks then I don't mind some visual downgrades.
How some People are so rude on internet ? how? yea I know ... Cause they are losers in real life!
Atleast i am a "loser" to do my research before saying "I will pass".
You said "online only" for this game and you will pass on it because of that which is a shame.
But if you READ what i said in my first post (5th post), you would know that i wrote that the DEVS said the game WILL have campaign mode, but they havent said anything about it...yet.

Not bad at all.

It takes a while to realize if a game is any good...more than likely there may be some bias in the reviews. or glowing hype.
