That's really dissapointing, 1 year delay, but Codemasters will fail anyway.

I hate racing games (Except for Burnout) but let's just say it the trailer was awesome! :)

Good. hope they use the extra year to get the game running at 60FPS and make the cars handle properly(no central pivot).

But I have a feeling Codemasters will let me down :(

Yes, central pivot in a Formula One game would probably make me throw up.

I don't know what to think. I've been waiting for a Formula 1 game on consoles that isn't crappy for YEARS.....and now that Sony finally stopped spouting crappy games, will Codemasters REALLY step it up or will they once again, come up with their ridiculous physics system and call it a simulation or anything remotely close to that?

Meh, I know graphics will be good though, lol.

Having absolutely no idea how a F1 car really drives. I thought F1 Championship Edition on PS3 was pretty accurate lol

F1 games haven't been what they used to be ever since they started the whole exclusive licensing crap.. Grandprix 4 by Microprose was the last proper F1 racinggame imho..

Can anyone tell me whats a central pivot?

Central-pivot is when the object(cars in this case) basically has an invisible pole in the center and the car turns/moves from the pole. Instead of steering witht he front wheels steering its done at center making what you see on the screen(front/hood/whole car) different from what you feel.

Some people cant tell so its not a problem for them but for people like me its a pain in the ass because the cars behave so inconsistently that I have zero confindence whether or not I can take a high speed turn at full throttle and if I do go at full speed is my car going to spin out or is the line im taking, even though it looks correct, going to lead me intot he wall or gravel trap.

That picture makes no sense and believe me, I know how f***** horrible the handling is on Codemasters games.

GriftGFX FFA deathmatch is pretty fun in OW even though it's totally not balanced. Great Tracer practice. (4 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog The Orville episode 3 was amazing. Very heavy topic but handled it extremely well. (4 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I wasn't really setting up any specific comparison at all. I said modern phones and many PCs. That's pretty vague. You can set whatever limits on that you want. (6 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Granted.. synthetic benchmarks are just that.. but in Geekbench 4 a Snapdragon 835 can outperform a Q9550.. which is definitely faster than the E6600. (6 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX My personal history of personal computing goes back to 8-bit computers. I think 2017 ARM CPUs are amazing. (6 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @droezelke: I said E6600.. and its single core performance in synthetic benchmarks is certainly comparable. But yes. You can go back to the 80s. I didn't say anything about them being modern. (6 Hours ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke @GriftGFX: no, a snapdragon 835 does not have computing power of a Q6600 (9 years old). Do you really want to go further in time to prove your statement made sense? (6 Hours ago)
