The R8 seems to lack the definition found in the GT5 version, but putting graphics aside that's a pretty sweet selection. Too bad there's no GTR.

It's 400, and sure that doesn't sound to bad, but in total there's already for 1300 MS points total DLC for Forza 2 released now.. Seriously why don't they just add all his stuff from the start and sell their games for 85 euro/dollars if that's the money they want out of it..

I like Forza 2 very much, but I simply refuse to spend more on it then I already did after I paid for the Xbox 360, Xbox Live, and the game itself..

i agree, its very expensive for what you get.
this pack of cars for example should be 100 points
live arcade games 200 points.
Xbox origionals 400
demos should ALWAYS be FREE

all movies should be 200 (HD and SD)
why should we pay more for HD, its microsoft and big companies thats trying to incourage 'the HD era'... so come on, bring it on, but dont charge us extra please

400 MS Points for 10 cars = 50 cent/car + free car.
100 MS Points for Road America.

@Jioann00

This is the cheapest per car carpack on xbox live and the cheapest track. Xbox Live Arcade games have equals to themselves on PC that cost over $20 making XBLA a great deal. Xbox Originals are full games and most cost less then the version you would buy in a store(Halo 1 is $25 used at Gamestop.). Demos are free.

All movies and tv shows on XBLVM come in SD format and some come with the option of HD format. HD movies cost more because not only are they 6x the resolution but they also use a whole lot more bandwidth.

BTW they aren't pushing HD down anyones throat seeing as the Xbox 360 can be played on any resolution TV.

Please research before opening your mouth.

Development costs money and people want extra content to hold them over to the next game and developers will only make extra content if its worth it if not they will put their full focus on the next game. When you bought the Xbox 360 you paid for the Xbox 360 and the development of the Xbox 360, when you bought Xbox Live you bought Xbox Live and the on going support and development of Xbox Live and when you bought the game you bought the game and the development for the game. Its not like you can buy a house and get furniture for free.

I don't care if it's the cheapest ever, it should be free, periode.. Charging for content that's MP orientated splits online communities (I cannot play with my friends anymore that bought the 2 extra tracks and race on them).. And 50/cent per car is a nice calculation, but I can only buy the whole pack, not pick the cars I want..

Yeah development costs money, it's the favorite excuse used for DLC on XBL, yet on the PC this kind of stuff has been done for free for many many years, how come it can be done free there and not on a console? And I guess making a gamerpic or theme is very expensive aswell (sarcasm).. I tell you why it can be done on the PC but not on a console like the Xbox 360, because on the PC developers and/or publishers don't have a 'monopoly' on what's offered, if they don't offer content people will make it themselfs, it normal for games to offer free extra content or offer editors some people can make content themselfs, if not people will less likly buy that game and buy another game that does.. That's the problem with the consoles, especially the Xbox 360, MS has a total monopoly on what's done with it, also online.. MS decides what's offered and for how much, only choice you have as a gamer is to buy or get nothing, some choice that is..

A lot of consolegamers accept it because they never had extra content offered before, so they also have no histrory with it being free and all.. They think it's all normal and fine what MS is doing, charging for online gaming and every piece of DLC down to the smallest gamerpic, because they don't know better and are happy they can get something extra.. But I as a oldskool PC gamer do know better, and that's why it gets to me..

I've said it many times before, and I will say it again, MS should at least have made XBL totally free to use, also for online MP, then I wouldn't mind them charging for every little piece of DLC they offer on the marketplace.. But now it's just to much.. All in all PC gaming is still more expensive because the hardware is so much more expensive, but at least on that platform the spending ends once you got your hardware and the game you want to play, on the Xbox 360 it feels like the spending never stops, almost everything extra you do or want costs money.. DLC on the Xbox 360 has become a tool for the indutry to make more money of their games, it's not like DLC on the PC that's made to show they really care about the people that bought their game..

Saying HD shouldn't cost more than SD is just plain stupid. It's not like MS is just making you pay more just because it's "HD". They have to pay more to get the HD content. So they have to hand the costs down to somebody, they can't just take another billion dollar hit on their Xbox division to please someone who doesn't understand common sense.

ok, your right, sorry
and thats sorry to everyone on the thread i might have annoyed

im not a business man clearly, i was just saying what i would personally feel happy giving my money away for. the prices i listed was what i would feel happy about paying, not that i woudlnt pay the prices as they are. i wasnt trying to give business advice to one of the biggest companies in the world please understand.

but i think for a pack of virtual cars its quite steep, i mean your paying for something that dosnt actually exsist nor can be used in any other capacity.

and as for HD content, i feel its the future, but thats because ive been bombarded by advertisments everywhere telling me so, so i decide to buy an hdtv., then i go on xbox live and HD content costs more, i recently bought a HDdvd drvie for my 360 and i go into my local HMV and cant find a single HDdvd for it, i asked the assistant and she said they dont stock them. i just feel cheated a bit, so i was posting while bitter about having waste alot of money already, so i appologise to everyone im all carm again now :D

Blah blah blah..............................
You get 300+ cars with the game when you buy it. Thats what you pay the price of the game for. Thats it. You dont get any other free stuff included in the future in that price.

So, if you dont want these cars, dont buy them. They are all ADDONS to the game, they dont exist in the package you bought earlier, so why the HELL should they be free for you??
Its like saying, hey i want that Rallysport engine upgrade for my Porche, even tough i never paid for it and just got myself a normal edition.

Idiots :)

Are you guys really that stupid (read: ignorant), or are you just as ultra-capitalistic companies like MS thinking everything in this world is about making as much money as possible out of everything you do for others?? Sad person you really are then..

Ohw, looky here, 2 new maps again, like in almost every major patch of this game.. And all free, doesn't cost a nickle because Relic cares about it fans and doesn't need to get every little penny out of them after already buying the game.. And this happens to almost all PC games I play and have played over the 15+ years I've been gaming already.. But offcourse it doesn't exist, I'm all just making it up..

Dream on ignorant consolegamers you are.. Companies like MS loves people like you..

You are an idiot Inflatable. There is a difference between console games and PC games. PC games are released so horribly buggy that the only way to lure ppl to stay with the game / new people to buy it is to release new "treats" from time to time.

Look at Company of Heroes, or even the expansion. You STILL cant fuckin play it online due to the idiotic bug where 90% of ppl cant connect to ANY game what so ever online.
Now look at most 360 games, they...... uh..... They work! :O SHOCK AND AWE!

Ive been a diehard pc fanboy for my entire life. But i finally got sick of it, ive had enough of being told bullshit by pc devs that NEVER fix their games, you pay for a game and then it NEVER works the way its supposed to. And you never get a refund or anything, you are fracked.
Look at Crysis, there STILL are almost noone playing it online, due to the server auth bug where almost noone can join any official servers. So you sit there alone in a server. How fun is that? Is that worth the money? No it fuckin isnt..
Or Universe At War? Can hardly play online there either due to the craptastic online lobby system..
Yeah, whine about "its your computer, u suxx!". Ive been building computers for 11 years, so i think i know more than you.
Or what about Supreme Commander and its desyncs in almost every single online match, or crashes which were only fixed with the expansion, which you have to PAY FOR..

I'd rather buy a 60 buck console game and then decide if i want to buy 5 bucks extra for the DLC, than to pay 50 bucks for a PC game that just has bugs bugs bugs bugs and more bugs, that NEVER gets fixed.

Okay, no need to start name calling. Consider that a warning. Next step = ban stick. I don't mind people discussing this issue. If you're a fan of paying extra for shit that you're already paying for, that's cool, you can express that any way you want without getting personal. The same goes for the opposite end of that opinion.

And he's right, btw. Hell, MS even gave you lots of free content on the original Xbox, but we've all gone and forgot about that once the Halo 2 maps hit. Think about, for example, all the cool content that Crimson Skies had--I think (unless I'm remembering incorrectly) all entirely free of charge--if that game was an Xbox 360 game, you better believe that it would have cost you some Microsoft Money.

DLC is basically a scam. Rationalize it all you want, and keep buying "$60 games" that are supported with in game advertisements and loads of hidden costs.

PC games aren't nearly as broken as you're making them out to be. Your examples of why PC gaming is broken or irrelevant to this conversation are pretty irrelevant. Hell, look at Call of Duty 4--which has received several bug fixes already that the console versions are still behind on. Yeah, sure.. PC devs never fix their games, and console games never have them (insert giant rolleyes/lol here).

droezelke WD2 is more fun than WD1, but it's so easy. Also, the main quests are 'meh'. WD1 had a more focussed story. The story in WD2 is uninspired. (3 Hours ago)

droezelke @Sdarts: Don't forget that people are getting sick of CoD, they didn't trust WD anymore after the first. Dishonored 2 got too little PR according to me. (3 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker quests, which is a goddamn shame, a goddamn shame. For sure they could have come up with some meaningful side quests with at least a story. (4 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker Definitely enjoying FFXV more but I am solely talking about the story missions, some good diversity there. I also really like the Chocobos. Just such a shame that the side quests truly are all fetch (4 Hours ago)
