Xbox 360 PS3

THQ and Kaos has released a trailer of Frontlines: Fuel of War, planned for a release in February on Xbox 360, PC and Playstation 3. The trailer explains the Drones in the game, there are quite a few, and it seems like Kaos has learned from their work on Battlefield - there were people who complained about the fact that vehicles were too powerful, and now the drones can take care of this. Hopefully they just won't turn the battlefield into a robot circus.

Stuff like this is really depressing.. I mean, machines being used for war, this is like the future

Scientists and engineerers are working so hard and so much money is used to make robots for destruction and killing. friggin terminator is starting to make sense

Same feeling happened to me when i was playing COD4, i loved the game, but started to realise how horrible war can be for the loosing team. I was bombing and killing people and my team was shouting..Hell yeah, good shooting..Nice! Almost encouraging me, i can see how young gamers might get influenced in joining the army via games. Strangely playing a ww2 game doesn't give that feeling

Still, the game looks nice but its going to be tough giving an experience like COD4, it just upped the meter on an intensive gaming experience

Anyone being stupid enough to do that will be in for a shock.. No health regen and respawn in real war.. ;)

Ohw, and btw, everybody complained about WWII being overdone, but I feel it's the same now with all these modern and near future wargames.. As much as I like the BF games, Quakewars, and now CoD4 etc, it's it a bit much? I fear Frontlines will suffer from this.. To much competition, and a little bit to late..

It's a very different sort of game than COD. More BF than Call of Duty, and I think they're real competition will be BF3, and not Bad Company, at least on the PC side of things. I think this game will have a certain appeal on consoles. Organized 32 player battles with dedicated servers will make it something unique for sure.

Very good point. And as much as the gameplay separates this from Call of Duty, I'm not sure it will be enough to get noticed right now. I'm still buying it in January for sure. I really appreciate KAOS.. they're really in touch with their community and that goes a long way with me. I suspect there will be some good competition for this game on the PC as well, but I'll probably still be wrapped up with Call of Duty.

But I'm still buying it anyway.

Drones are mad fun.. but I don't think you need to worry about the "robot circus" personally.
