Wow, just wow...i hope they don't mess things up with vehicles handling.
Make it happen asobo and its +1 buy.
I thought the biggest "map" in a game would be the old game Frontier: Elite 2 with thousands of star systems and planets ಠ_ಠ
flight simulator games may have bigger map, altough it's not as detailed of course.

Is this suppose to be similar to Burnout Paradise or Test Drive?
Atleast, its what they are hoping it to be.
I see Motorstorm killer written in the back of the boxart.

This video hyped me up like crazy.. I had no idea it was ONE big map, where you can drive from the snowy mountains to the beaches, in one sitting..
I thought it was just like any other game, you know, with big levels like "Desert, Avalance Mountain" and stuff like that. Not one single open world, wow...
So basically this is Oblivion turned into a racing game (and bigger). I'm amazed..
Playable eh? Hmm. No "reset to track" barriers? That could be interesting.
However there are open race modes like something similar to baja or point to point races, or just free roam.
So yeah, it is one open world, but surely there must be restrictions in tight races to prevent cheating.

Also, I'm wondering if the weather effects, like tornadoes, will actually mod the environment. If I see one of those huge tornadoes going over one of those billboards, and it stays in place, that's really going to break any sense of immersion or the power of such natural phenomena.
If that was a french chick speaking, i wouldn't even need to know about the game, i would've bought it with no questins

Thing is that they won't. Motorstorm really has its own feel, especially with the vehicle handling.
But... Even though I really like Motorstorm and play it a lot with friends and sometimes think, that this is a game that will never get boring, I still think, Fuel looks alot like Motorstorm and has larger enviroments (because of it's unique technics) and advenced graphics... But I can not really believe that it will really be as cool as it looks like at the moment...
Maybe it will really be as cool or maybe not, but I think, that Motorstorm will still have some advantages.
