Wich translates, GTFO You freakin' bandwith thieves.
It will probably be back, after all this GC08 frenzy is over.

thats because you are a new school graphic whore tha prefer games like crysis where the game play sucks the hell out of the game but its was wonderfull graphics so you can say: OMFG I'M SUCH A GRAPHIC WHORE!!I'M PLAYING A SHITY GAME BUT I DON'T CARE!
This game does look nice. I don't know why, but I love shiny rough surfaces like the ground at the beginning. Ever since the tile floors at the train station level in Half Life 2 I have drolled over all things shiny... Yum...
And this game is really starting to appeal to me. It might be a bit simple, but with the vehicle creation it obviously has tons of potential for depth, which I plan on exploring to the fullest. And lots of other stuff that just tickles my fancy. And i need to escape from all the Gears of War and what not =) With this and I will have to finally pick up Kameo too.
SOLD.
most of the videos i watch on here have no sound,is it my problem or is it the same for everyone
The game looks good, btw, certain objects even have a bit of a CG-ish look about them (like the cogs). The gameplay i've seen in multiple videos however looks boring imo.
I want to love it but I just can't for some reason.
If you're looking at this and it's doing nothing for you, then you either weren't born, or old enough to remember that era, or you've forgotten about it, in which case the hardcore gamer inside you is dead, if indeed you were one to begin with. Epic old school N64 style platforming greatness? Yes please.
Wow, you can see they're trying really hard to be like Little Big Planet but failing pretty miserably. The graphics look decent at least.
LBP is nothing but creating content. Banjo is an actual platform game, were you can construct vehicles to help you get around. And considering it's been in development a lot longer than LBP, I highly doubt that it had any impact on its development.
That's why I can't understand why I'm not that hyped toward it, I still play my N64 games on wii or the 64 itself.
I personally think it looks lovely in terms of backgrounds, but (and I find myself agreeing with the dude more and more) as Korndog says, the style is a real mess. The characters sit uneasily with the rest of the design work. Strangely unlike Viva Pinata, which looks beautiful. Unlike KD though, I have to say I find the idea of the vehicles oddly compelling and looks kinda fun when it comes to physics puzzles. Nice!
