For a RTS that don't look bad at all. But.... I don't care nothing for a RTS game so this is a no buy for me.

Not liking that.. just looks like they've not bothered to put the textures on them..like those models you can buy before you paint them.

RTS isnt my genre, but i will still buy couple of rts games because rts is fun and this game looks great

what if both teams are spartans, this is like in halo ur red or blue

oh and in single player you will not be all one colour.

I haven't played an RTS in a loooong time. However this one is interesting me. I'm getting somewhat jaded by the multitude of FPS's that are out there, so something like this is a breath of fresh air, and strangely enough, not as common on a MS console as there probably should be. I feel like playing these games is like the kid in my wanting to play with toy soldiers again. Obviously it would be ridiculous for me to do that without looking like a complete retard, but with games like these, you can get away with it.

It's looking really good, but it's a shame I don't have the coin to buy it after getting GeOW2, FIFA09 and Guitar Hero.

Single player, they will use real colours

multiplayer, there will be pure base colour teams without the original designs

Ah yeah, well multiplayers different.. makes sense to have teams.. but these screens didnt say anything about multiplayer

This is the first RTS I've been interested in for a long time, I usually find them pretty boring, but the Halo universe seems perfect for this type of game and it'll be good to explore more of the lore and backstory.

That screenshot with the purple team does look rather odd though, the other screens show teams with multiplayer colours as well, but that one just looks like they've been completely spraypainted pink. Perhaps it's just the angle.

It looks great, the ONLY thing I hate are the colors of units. Their too bright and crap. I get the need to show different groups like NPC ally groups and stuff, but they should seriously tone it down. All the single player I have seen had the god awful colors. Everything else is beautiful.

Well in RTS's there are different teams on the same side sometimes. In SP they do they same thing so when your allies come their like orange. Its a bit much, they should tone it down so they don't look like candy, and pick something other then effing orange.

If there's one thing I like about Halo it's the color scheme. They've somehow managed to avoid the two ugliest--and most common--colors associated with the genre. It looks great. Unfortunately RTS isn't my thing. GrimGrimoire is the only such game I've ever liked.

I don't know what Age of Empires has to do with what KORNdog said. I know it's the same developer but that's about it.

The tanks in the first picture looks awful, but the covenant base looks amazing..

It's the same developer and Age of Empires 3 is just as clean as those screenshots
