Video PC Xbox 360 PS3

As odd as it may seem, Ubisoft finally decided to release the direct feed video of the E3 demo of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist. To watch it in all its Gamersyde-quality glory, follow me inside.

No aiming necessary.

Reminds me of PES and it's auto shoot, pass and tackle default setting.

Is this really what today's kids want from gaming?

They even included the much necessary wall scaling from Uncharted too!

They simply shouldn't advertise it as Splinter Cell anymore.

Hell, they even don't have Michael Ironside anymore. This game couldn't be further away from its roots.

OH GOD THE HORROR

Me and Splinter Cell had a good run, but it's time to pull the plug on Fisher.

Spec Ops The Line had it so effective, where after every bomb drop your face is reflected on the screen. Chills.

Looks good to me! I mean, I could complain about how it's "no longer Splinter Cell!" but I'll probably have more fun accepting that it's different and just enjoying it. Makes more sense to me that way.

They really should have renamed the game, or at least made some kind of spin off, with a new character. This is just wrong, but I'm afraid that I will still enjoy the game to some extent, even tho it's far from the SC I used to know. :/

It's like all the mediocre parts of Assassin's Creed and Call of Duty put together.

In a way you're right, but what made Splinter Cell interesting was it's pacing and tone, which seems to be abandoned here.

If the game industry is anything like the movie industry they won't be realizing this mistake anytime soon. Our culture on a hole is being dumded down, it's sad.

Some of you should get over yourselves. We got it, you are all geniuses- if people like something you don't they are morons. Me, I think this game is looking pretty sweet- Old Splinter cell or not... Damn I hate being an idiot...

what do you expect if nowadays people cry because games like Dark Souls (piece of cake compared to old games in 80s/90s imo) are too difficult, lol...

I love how 13 years olds are blamed for games being dumbed down.

I think it's the opposite. 13 year olds have tons of time on there hands to play games. It's the 30-something year old dads who couldn't give a shit and want to blow some time after work on a Wednesday.

Not everyone wants to be a hardcore gamer. Just like not everyone movie goer wants to watch a foreign art film on a Saturday night.

ugh, I can't stand this "I think I am superior because I play hard games" attitude.

It's hilarious how people act like a games difficulty or skill is a measure of the players intellectual competence or social status.
