To be honest have not spotted any difference between FIFA 11 and FIFA 12 other than the pitch being greener, the stadium of Man City and the kits being different.

I agree. And you gotta play it for yourself to really start noticing it.

you wont see changes until you play, cause things like tactical defending and precision dribbling depends solely on who is playing

Much thanks for the video, just out of curiosity, was the shortness an EA enforced policy or more to do with trying to get a balanced selection of game videos made available from GC? As everyone else has said already would like to see a longer gameplay video as we've really been starved of proper gameplay footage by EA for some reason :)

I did. Instantly you can tell the animations are far smoother. Not only are they smoother, but it looks as if the players carry a proper sense of weight. In Fifa 11, they did tend to have the appearance that they were a bit floaty at times. That now looks to be gone. Also, note the lack of crazy pressure style football there. Looks promising.

until you play you will not notice any gameplay changes OBVIOUSLY!! lol some people

i hate people who leave comments like that, maybe there isnt anything changed but you wont be able to tell until you play so leave comments like that for the DEMO.

vids like this also depends heavily on who is playing

If you're talking about me, then you're not talking to some sap who's just picked up Fifa (or any game) in the last couple of years or so and just pretend to know what I'm talking about. You can obviously still tell from gameplay videos if something is different or changed or not. I've been looking at the fucking thing (Fifa 11) for the past year or so, so my eyes can tell the difference. "Obviously" the changes to core elements like AI, passing and shooting have to be felt, but just like PES, you can tell if something moves smoother, looks heavier etc, then it'll translate to the pad when you're in control. What I noted on was the distinct look that the players appear to have more weight to them. Something that some people complained about the "skating" feel that 11 had. It looks to be addressed.

Even from that short video, you can tell that FIFA 12 is going to be awesome and is not simply FIFA 11 ver 2.0. Couldn't see much but it was enough to wet my appetite!

I'm surprised no one's picked up on the new match-day camera angle... it's pretty obvious.

Longer videos are starting to show up on Youtube. The improvements are very visible, from the improved speed of control and response to the massive improvement of the pressure system. The match presentation has been stepped up a notch as well, the camera angles and UI animations look much more like actual TV presentation now.
