I am really impressed with Microsoft over e3 and gamescom. As someone who has waited and not really a fan of consoles more games, Xbox one right now is easily the better choice. There's a lot more games, not so much stocking fillers ( Indies ). Stocking fillers are nice, but nothing on the main presents. AAA games.

Horizon 2 looks absolutely gorgeous. Best racing visuals I've seen yet. The detail in the lighting and the environment is incredible. More importantly the gameplay and social aspect sounds incredible. Can't wait to road trip with people in this. Should have my Xbox one tommorrow.

With the increased popularity of having uncompressed footage (new gen console footage loses a lot of it's appeal on youtube) you also get the usual suspects. Better to just ignore them.

Driveclub looks great, but horizon 2 has more world detail to me. And a few articles I've read said horizon 2 has more detail.
But in all honesty driveclub is off my radar now horizon 2 is coming. It seems a much better game. I've never bought an Xbox first in any gen. But I'm glad I didn't buy ps4 at launch now. Sorry its true. I go where the games are. Eventually ill have a ps4 when there's more than Indies available.

as always it's a matter of preference but I also played both and Driveclub feels more like a boat simulator than anything else. Graphically speaking, both look good.
You are right about the detail. Theres a great video on the MotoGames Tv youtube channel showcasing a road trip event and wow the content and detail within the world is epic!!!
So much has gone into the social side of FH2 its on a different level to DC. 1000 player car clubs, car meets where you can view other players cars with the option to purchase their tuning and livery set-ups on the fly and all of the awesome pvp modes which you can drop in and out of seamlessly and you got yourself the best MP openworld racer of the last few gen and im a racing fan so pretty much played them all :) Gonna be increasing my friends list without a doubt when this launches! Cant wait :)
I just saw the latest Driveclub footage here and i didn't find it as impressive as other footage of that game. The weather seems incredible in the game though and while it's great that FH2 has it as well, it doesn't look as realistic. Long story short..FH2 has great graphics and Driveclub too, some areas in one game look better than the others.
And yeah i keep forgetting that Driveclub is indeed not open world and FH2 is.

Lmao you lost your credibility in the first para itself. I think it is going to be fun Arcady game though. There will be lots of shortcut and I am sure this track or rather area can be driven even without brakes.

I'm not after any credibility. I'm a gamer. And I'm not just going to lie ? At this moment Microsoft have more exclusives that are main course games. I was disappointed with sonys e3 and gamescom. Sure fans will say whatever they want about Indies. Only a few years ago Sony fans hated on Indies that Microsoft had. Yet now they are amazing.
Nah. I don't play stupid fanboy games. Right now Xbox one has more real AAA exclusives coming out this year and have had already. And 2015 is shaping nicely to. So far Sony haven't got anything other than Indies. And I'm not buying one now for some AAA Sony exclusives in 2015 and 16. I'll wait till 2015 Xmas for ps4 earliest. I'm not a stupid consumer.

I also prefer the games on Microsoft's side for the remaining of the year with Halo:MCCC, Forza Horzon 2, Sunset Overdrive and that beautiful Ori and the Blind Forest (an Indie, sorry).
But to say that Sony literally has no games other than Indies is pure nonsense. There's is Driveclub and LittleBigPlanet 3 coming out this fall. The Last of Us Remastered came out recently. Earlier this year there was MBL 14, Infamous Second Son and a Realm Reborn. For Xbox there was Titanfall and Kinect Sports Rival.
Sony has the tendency to spread out its titles over the course of the year, while Microsoft seems to focus a little bit more on the holiday season. And it seems the same thing will happen next year too. Sony will release Bloodborne and The Order 1886 in early 2015, while there's nothing in sight for Microsoft in the same timeframe (Fable Legends in summer ?!?).
For my part, I was quite satisfied with Sony's Gamescom. They announced Hellblade (the new AAA from Ninja Theory) and WiLD (a new AAA from Michel Ancel, even if it's an indie by definition because it is made by a new studio).
All indies? Just no...

i played dc and forza horizon 2 on gamescom, but imo dc just looks very nice but feels so boring, i can not see me playing this game longer then 1 day but forza horizon 2 gameplay was a fun enjoyable fun racing game! i would reccoment all to watch this video about forza horizon 2 and you will change your mind about this game, i would reccoment watch the last 10 min. of it!

Im talking from someone who had a ps3. Tlou was less than 1 year ago. Half the indies were on ps3, and when deciding between xb1 or ps4 first its infamous is the only one worth it imo. And you're talking to someone who didn't have a PS3 (like a lot of PS4 owners according to Sony). So I'm really happy they remastered The Last of Us. =P

I suppose if you didn't have a Ps3 then I can sort of see your point. But I'd then say to you you should have got a cheap ps3 than a ps4 at this point in time. Along with an xb1. Not only could you have played tlou and most of the ps4 Indies but also the uncharteds and the better killzones that were on ps3 for a third of the price. Then waited till Xmas 2015 to switch when uncharted 4 hits. Hopefully not delayed.

Yeah I (mostly) only heard good things about Uncharted. I'm hoping Sony will release a remastered collection before U4 like Microsoft is doing with Halo.
That being said, I knew when I purchased my PS4 (same thing with my Xbox One) that it was more of an investment for the future. The main reason I upgraded to current gen was to play 64 players Conquest in Battlefield 4. And boy I wasn't deceived.
My most anticipated games are Forza Horizon 2 and Bloodborne. Both are due to come out quite soon (next month for FH2 and within 6 months for BB), so I had to buy both consoles before Xmas 2015 anyway.

what's that supposed to mean, there are plenty of quality games on the PS4, as there are for the XB1, making a statement like that is just pathetic flame bait, either stay on topic or don't post at all, real gamers don't start flame wars!
The reality here is that the best looking game for x1 will always look better on ps4. So graphic arguments are pointless. That being said fh2 has no equal (relative to fh1) its concept removes much of the inate monotony of racing game's design and captures that sense of adventure that is so mesmerizing. For what's considered the sibling of the franchise or series it is undoubtedly the greater game of the forza's and comes closer than most racers at capture the sense of wonder and FUN driving offers.
