EA and Crytek revealed the first multiplayer images of Crysis 2 at Gamescom, check them out.
Update 2: 7 new screens added.

Crysis 2 Multiplayer Game Modes
Crash Site

Crash Site is a team-based game mode where 2 sides compete for control of Ceph Drop Pods launched periodically into the map by dropships patrolling overhead. Teams score points by guarding the pods and keeping enemies at bay.

Team Instant Action

Team Instant Action is a standard game mode pitting 2 teams against each other. Kill as many opponents as possible, whilst attempting to minimize your own deaths. Use the Nanosuit to sneak up on enemies in Stealth mode, or charge in and gun them down in Armor.

You should cut to the chase like this at the start of every thread =) Save everyone more time for discussing game mechanics and things that matter MORE than just the tiniest low res texture etc.

Well the footage from the EA Presser was definitly PC, but looked underwhelming nonetheless.

Saw the maps, very Killzone 2-COD style, i like it.

Not too big not too small.

I wonder when they will announce a beta, I would love to be in it, especially the PS3 version hopefully considering thats the version I am getting.

I doubt you would say that playing it on a kick ass monitor. Trust me, Crysis graphics don't play well unless your looking at it at a huge resolution.

Definitive Xbox 360 Version. Just look at how they aim. If You tell me you aim so slow with a mouse you must be kidding. Why should they use Controllers for a FPS on PC while everybody says mouse and keyboard is more accurate? The Show Floor is from EA and they will show PC Games ass well, this is why you see M/K

At first Crysis2 didn't really do anything for me apart from looking good. But the recent singleplayer video makes it look like it would play really well. And the mutliplayer could be really great.

Did you read my Post? Its not the possibility to plug in a Pad its just why you should play an FPS on a PC with a Pad when you have a Mouse and Keyboard? This makes no Sense.

It doesn't ahve to make sense, it's still a possibillity. Perhaps they want it to look as though they are running it on 360 but it's actually the PC build? Who knows what crazy PR reasons they could have. You can't just assume things.
