Prototype made you feel much more badass and powerful than Infamous, can't wait to try this one out!
But the combat was as spastic as a spiderman game only with a completely unlikable character. Just ruined it for me. Would hope there was more to do too, cos man was the first game repetative.

Zap zap zap zap zaaaaap, find somewhere to suck some electricity...rinse and repeat.
Cole was super limited to his use of powers while Infamous 1 you could atleast use normal zap unlimited.
The guy got powers but yet he he climbs a broken Altair to take out those roof campers and then you go down again.
Granted, the missions was better structured but man the gameplay was boring and slow IMO.
Cole is just an insult to characters with powers IMO, and how the gameplay structure was designed is pure garbage for an action games.
Its a shooter with a power paint on it.
Sure his devastating powers are awesome though.
Atleast Prototype makes you feel like an true badass protaganist that acts as a action game and not another shooter.
And you are not limited to your powers.
Only thing I liked about Infamous 2 was graphics and the running was faster and animations was better, thats about it.
I think it'll be the same sad excuse for a game, but then the hulk game they made was the same. Just mediocrity at its best. Protoype 1 had a ton of abilities, yet 90 % of them where boring or utterly useless. How about they dont try (and fail) to offer the world like they did in the first game, and instead make a few things more awesome.
Maybe make the combat less spastic in general. Make it less emo? Dont make it seem like they're tryimg too hard to be angsty and instead looking like a joke? Lots of places to start the improvements, but based on what we've seen, it doesnt look like they're bothering with any of them...shame.
I do say that the only powers Prototype offers that I like and only use is the strength, speed, jump and acrobatic movements.
I NEVER used his mutation powers other than the whip to grab a hold on to the helicopters in the air.
Atleast the game wasent limiting me to go and juice up the main character lol
I would say Cole is like Green Lantern, his powers empty, he has to recharge, like a stupid battery, annoying for a character with powers.

I had a great time with Prototype. Especially the challenge with completing it on the hardest difficulty and taking all the achievements for it. Granted it was repetitive. Especially getting all the orbs in the city (dear god). But it was challenging and fun.

Prototype is just one of the games we happen to like the samething.
For example he likes Gears, I hate it. I like CoD he hates it, he loved Bayonetta I hate it...etc.
But whatever, like I said, no point in argueing. Agree to disagree is the best choice.
You both had good points about the flaws in the different hero games, but now it's time to calm down. Everybody can't like everything, but let's just give Radical a chance!
