Trailer PS3

In Tokyo Jungle, humans are extinct so pets go feral, zoo animals escape and wild creatures rule the street. You, the player, choose one of these animals and have to seize territory and avoid the jaws of your enemies. No release date yet for the PSN title.

Features

• Hunt prey, feast on plants and do whatever it takes to stay alive.
• Find a mate and then continue the fight for survival as your offspring, with each generation growing stronger.
• Play as dozens of different animals from dogs to deer, lions, crocodiles, dinosaurs and more.
• Upgrade your skills by unlocking and wearing items of clothing.
• Face challenging missions and discover why humans have disappeared.
• Team up with a pal in two-player missions offline.
• Earn trophies and compare your survival skills in online leaderboards.

Previews suggest it's really good...can't see the appeal myself...looks a bit too...japanese.

I'm pretty sure they made this for 8 year old me. The me that was always asking who would win in a fight, a lion or an alligator......a shark or a tiger......now we can find out! The idea is actually kinda cool, until I read that you can upgrade your animal's clothes....huh? I thought it would be cool if it was just about surviving as an animal and using your unique abilities, but now I can't wait to find a gnarly sweater for my aardvark!

Anyone else find the art style very odd as well as the premise? Some shots look like digitized photos, others look like poorly done oil paintings. Just.....odd....

Sony's Japan studio puts out some of the most interesting stuff around. I've no idea what this game is, but it looks insane and therefore intriguing. Now if only Japan Studio could get The Last Guardian out.

Yeah, because this game looks killer, lol. Thinking this game looks weak has nothing to do with COD. Is this innovative? Looks clunky with poor design for the most part to me. Seems like the weirdness is what they are leaning on...

I find your finding this game "weird" rather disturbing.

Don't you find Call of Duty weird? how the physics are all wrong, how people keep respawning within seconds and how walls, windows, and bullets just make no sense?

Yeah I call on Call of Duty you know why? because its the best selling video game that is selling ridiculous ammounts of money and therefore funding and telling game devs to just make more first person shooting games instead of original stuff

Wtf? You are weird :P I'm not the one with the problem finding it weird. I just said something because you called someone stupid because they thought it was weird. I think it looks crap because despite the theme- having an off-the-wall premise doesn't make it innovative. I see poor art and C grade shovel-ware. Outside of playing as a random animal, it doesn't look like anything innovative( which isn't even very hard a concept). sorry...

This is one of those games where if it's made right it'll really take off. Something new that could fill a niche' that's never been tapped.

Only issue I have is that pomeranians and other small dogs that humans have bred into population would be one of the first creatures to go extinct. I realize it's not going to be realistic, but damn do I hate those dogs!
