Xbox 360

Our two extreme journalists at the GDC are now starting to upload some videos from the Microsoft Press Conference, like this a tad too dark video of Ninja Gaiden 2.
Update: Higher quality version available.

Haha I loved it when the guy said...

Once you reach this point, the gameplay will be saved on XBL, and share it and see the best players NG players around the world...

100000 Japanese players confirmed :P

But what if you played badly in one section and you want to play that section again :S

I say it would be nice to choose recording by just pressing "select" for the recording menu.

Great game for sure.

There's a fairly decent quality version of this up on Live, ~210MB download, but has a lot of compression.

I'm really not liking the way the game looks. Not a big step up from Sigma, which was not a big step up from Black. Just seems completely uninteresting to me right now, and it's coming in June...

Such poor quality! I'll check the marketplace version later but I still have my doubts about NG2. If there's one thing I learned from DMC it's that even the most amazing game can have the shittiest sequel. Hopefully MS doesn't get too involved with the series

EDIT: Just watched the high quality version, and I gotta say I'm a little impressed that they were able to stream that whole level with no load times. Also, I confused the ending scene with FMV at first! Definitely a step up from Sigma.

As for the most important aspect (gameplay), still somewhat worried... It looked too easy. I never tried Ninja Dog in the previous versions, but if that's what I was looking at, then it'd be a great relief! Can anyone confirm?

Looks pretty damn good, so smooth too, the draw distance looks great, and the environments more packed than they ever were before. Still, this will be another DMC4 as far as sequelitis goes, same old same old.

Also, I can't believe it's coming out in June! Definitely a pleasant surprise. Now for a public demo, and the unveiling of the new heroine...

That vid on XBLM shows just how amazing this game is gonna be, absolutely awesome!!

It already owns DMC4 graphically and obviously in gameplay and theres still over 3 months left of polishing to come!!

NG2>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>DMC4

That is fact.

DMC4 has backtracking like no other, and got boring as hell quickly.
NG had the samething, you went back to Tairon all the time.

However Itagaki said, he hated that idea of going back to the same place, twice.

So he said that for NG2, you wont be coming back to the same level twice, you keep going forward to new places around the world/realm.

The enemies seem to be dying too fast. I hope they played it on easy mode.
This ew weapons don´t look like a lot of fun. The Dragon Sword seems to be still the best weapon. All in one it looks a freaking awesome game though

He's right though. Nothing about this game looks like it pushes the PS4 and Xbox 720 at all.

I know, I thought it was well known that game is mediocre at best.

NG is looking HOT! And graphics have certainly improved. The animations and the silky smooth framerate is a HUGE plus. Yes, it doesn't do for the 360 what NG did for Xbox, but damn does it look nice. The closeup of Ryu in the cutscene shows extreme detail. And gameplay is the best in its kind BY FAR.

I agree that NG2 doesn't look current gen, it does look doable on Xbox 1. Take a look at Kameo, a FIRST GEN 360 game... Even though that game only runs at 30fps, you'd think the years would have allowed them to do that game at 60fps graphically, it IS possible, just that Team Ninja doesn't really have that skill in graphics.

I wouldn't say medicore for DMC4, DMC4 is alot of fun, but the backtracking with few levels are just lame as hell that it gets boring.
The 4-5 bosses that you have kill over and over again sucks, same enemies...etc.

I would say 7-8/10.

Visually, DMC4 is much better than NG2...but as game in general...NG2>>>>>>>>>>>>DMC4 by far.

I loved the graphics on NG Sigma, and NG2 is the same with added small extras, so I have no problem with it.

Meh.
You know what, try to put NG2 disc on Xbox 1, and then come back and tell us what it says :P

The Scythe and Tonfu won't be my weapon of choice at all, I don't like them. I will try them out, but won't keep them as favorites.

The Dragon Sword is still th best weapon of all, especially True Dragon Sword, and now with new combos, amazing weapon.
