Page 1 2 >>Considering the game operates via matchmaking also, will there be a new playlist for these maps or will it completely mess up matchmaking for people who don't want to be nickle&dimed?
Is this free? One of those maps is from the PC version of Gears of War.
Which one?
How about fix the lag 1st then bring out DLC i and many others don't play this anymore as the lag is AWFUL!!!
Not sure how epic managed to realease such a laggy game, i mean it's only 10 players on playing on small maps it shuldn't be that hard to provide a lag free experience, especially since pretty much every major 360 multiplayer game is more or less lag free online.
Damn shame since it is such an awesome game in every other way :(
I luvs me some ColeTrain, and I luvs me some Baird . . . but Baird's narration for the "Top 5 GoW1" video spots and ColeTrain's lines in this trailer seriously sound like they're doing Public Service Announcements for Saturday Morning Cartoons.
"The NEXT map is a SERIOUS danger, man! Word up and true dat, look out for the dangerous stuff as you try to find somewhere safe to shoot at the other team. That's the way the ColeTrain likes to do it!! WoooHooo!"
I absolutely loved the gritty, harsh, clearly-adult nature of GoW1 and 2, but these voiceovers for the promo materials are killing me!!

Haven't played MP, but I've gathered enough feedback on the subject to recognize that "it ain't solid". Campaign was MASSIVE though, wish they'd release some SP DLC for once (at a respectable price obviously)...

what was my cure to gears 1 addiction? gears 2... the online just blows, you can't use any of the skills you had in gears 1..
don't get me wrong, i love all the additions, the grenade tagging is one of the best things ever, crawling on the floor to your team mate when down? dude! how could they not have it before!? no active down on sniper? awesome..torque bow headshot? sweet mother of god! but the way you can't choose a match you want, getting chainsawed even when you are shooting the damn mother &!*£E$! with a shotgun straight to the face, and damn annoying unbalanced weapons? yup blows..just sucks.
one of the thrills about gears 1, even through the host advantage and glitches was how you can walk out feeling like the greatest hero alive...dude, the amount of times i used to pop heads, shotgun down the host, take out an entire elite locust horde..those were the days
Gears 1 was all about that, but you can't do that crap in gears 2, you can't even bloody choose the game you want to play..
is this downloadable pack tempting me? nah..but i did manage to move away from gears and stumble on a gem of a game..prince of persia..what a game
