Genesis games invade XBLA

Sega is about to fill the Xbox Live Arcade with some good ol' Genesis games. Games such as Sonic 3, Altered Beast, Shinobi, Comix Zone or Gunstar Heroes will be sold 400 MS Points each. Here is a small trailer, which should motivate you (or not) to buy some of these.

Weren't these the games on the Ultimate Genesis collection disc that came out a few months back? I would think it be cheaper to buy that at $30 and get all these games plus more.

The original press release said late summer 2009. Probably after the Summer of Arcade event.

I might buy the Sonic game. I grew up with some of the older ones, so that'd be sweet.

Shinobi sucks ! It's none of the two Genesis games but the Arceade version.
Even Shadow Dancer on Genesis was better than this.
Sonic 3, Comix Zone and Gunstar Heroes are pretty tempting though.
Will buy for sure. :-D

Well, what can i say...the achievements were really lame, got all but two in like 30 minutes of playing (altered beast) and the remaining two are a coming. Still fun though. I jsut want Alien Soldier added to the list ^^

its for the PSN as well. Just saying, i've been playing Gunstar Heroes with folks via online co-op.
