The graphics look pretty good, but I think Ninja Gaiden 2 still looks better.

the kratos character model looks really good and really detailed. he's almost too detailed....he stands out from the environments like crazy...really looking forward to it tho...the past games have been amazing.

hope they release more concept art, i love these artworks.

don't worry dude, GOW3 will look stunning, they got so much time until release, when hasn't a GOW title looked great?

the key thing is the gameplay and the story, this is it..i mean, Kratos is pissed and this is the finale.. he isn't going after some midget boss anymore, the battle is against the gods themselves!

Mount olympus is going to feel the wrath of KRATOS!!!! you can bet your ass there are going to be some epic moments..this is greek mythological badassnesss to the max!

Ninja Gaiden 2 is a 585p slideshow lol, get your eyes checked.

visuals are supreme, and polygon details are especially noteworthy. action and story are going to be insane, really looking forward to this.

Seriously? I thought NG2 looked awful even compared to older games like DMC4 and NG Sigma. Or was DMC4 newer than NG2? Either way I think GOW3 looks miles nicer.

Some later levels was great in NG2, it was the underworld levels.

But there GOW3 looks good, some looks great like the Kratos design and some others, but some looks decent to bad like the empty place with only buildings.

Anyway, can't wait for this game, gonna be so awesome.

this look way better than Ninja Gaiden 2 by miles. Look at the character and amount of detail. The lighting alone is amazing. Ninja Giaden 2 cannot stand up to this.

The bump mapping is done VERY well and is similar to uncharted. They use it to bring out more pore detail in the rocks, which is the proper way to use bump mapping. A lot of other games use it to glaze over low res textures.

Considering this is the alpha build, we are in for a real treat folks :D

I don't care what anyone thinks, because that looks seriously underwhelming. It doesn't even surpass NG2 by much, which was also a major disappointment in terms of graphics.

Can't say I'm a fan of GOW's gameplay either, though perhaps if there's some epic stuff in there I might give it a chance...

Heavenly Sword has more appealing environments (again I haven't played the game though XD). This look ok! For a team that has been working on this for 4 years it doesn't seem all that impressive. Plus this project is a cluster@%@^, the main two guys responsible for the series abandoned the team long time ago....doesn't seem too well for the series IMO.

In conclusion, as far as this genre is concerned, Heavenly Sword still is the most beautiful. The art and the tech in that game really come together (from what I have seen)

Looks great. The lighting outstrips other action titles and Kratos's character model is extremely detailed.Like the God of War titles on the PS2, it will be variable. In large enemy encounter scenes, 30 fps and in less hectic sequences close to 60 fps.

yea right...Ninja Gained is a flat looking game with zero lighting. Did you watch the trailer for this? Those thunder flashes were mighty impressive...the lighting in general is very well done

if you didnt think the first 2 where epic, then theres no hope for you in terms of enjoying GOW3...i'd suggest avoiding it.

Agreed. I'd still say some of the later ones are some of the best looking levels I've seen.

I have to disagree on that. Also, do you mean NG2 or NG Sigma 2? Because NG Sigma 2 looks better than NG2.He even has teeth and look at his eyes! Freaky stuff.

Anyone know why this isn't using the Heavenly Swords engine? Would have been perfect for this game! Just another dumb move by Sony? They could have easily modified it to suit the gameplay and dropped the resolution (like cod4) to make it run at 60 FPS.

NGS2 is a upgraded engine from NG2, so NGS2 looks better, more high res and details.

There is no way Ninja Gaiden 2 will be in the same league visually as this game when it's out :)
