I'm thinking...why not just make it Golden Axe? Why all this beast shit and seeming attempt att dmc "stylish" combat? Just go with Death Adder going berserk, then pick one of three heroes and kick some serious arcade ass? I'd love to see a golden axe that's the old concept brought in to this current generation, with all that that brings, but i don't need some crummy story. I also want to be able to be Ax Battler or Gilius Thunderhead!

Meh...just want to chop shit to bits, not ride around on dinosaurs. Though it looks better in motion than in stills, i'll give it that.

while chopping shit to bits is a lot of what made Golden Axe what it is, so is riding different creatures, and also picking the dud(ess) based on their fighting and magic abilities.

From there it's your basic lameass hack and slash "I wish I had more moves!!!" fighter.
Cool in the 90's, but can they make it worth the effort now?

Plumb: The creatures you can ride in golden axe are temporary powerups at best. Basically i'd want a golden axe with a bit bigger moves list, a couple of characters to choose from, perhaps a combo counter or something, and then i'd be happy. I'd want it to expand on the original concept, but not too much i guess, because there are very few good arcade romps available today.

That doesn't mean that this can't be good ofc, but i got a really bad "we want to make this epic as hell, but we just don't know how" kind of vibe from the trailer :P
