Jane Jensen, known for her work on the Gabriel Knight series, is about to come back with the release of Gray Matter, a new dark adventure game. This new title has already been delayed a few times, and not long ago it was pushed back to February 2011. Thankfully, we just got word that the game will finally be available in France, Spain and Italy on December 2, on PC and Xbox 360. Germany, Switzerland, Austria should be next with a November 12 release (TBC), while the UK will have to wait until February 2011. We still do not know when the game will ship in North America. Here are a few images that were released a few weeks ago so you see what the game is all about. Update: We just learned that the game will have different release dates depending on the country due to differing production and localization time frames. We edited the above text to give you the proper information.
@Melmoth: Just read up on it. Itls developped by a member of Crytek while still working for Crytek and is based of the CryEngine, but it is proprietary to Ubisoft. How that works in terms of royalties (2 Hours ago)
@Melmoth: Is the Dunia Engine Crytek property? I don't think so (2 Hours ago)
I mean they can keep upgrading it but why bother when they have more capable engines already. (15 Hours ago)
I just think it shows its age in a lot of ways in FC5 and they have better tech so they should use it. (15 Hours ago)
if they still pay royalties to crytech when using it they probably should (15 Hours ago)
Although I think it's kinda time to retire Dunia. (15 Hours ago)
@HR2: a lot of studios used modified UE3, games like Arkham Knight, XCom2, both being very problematic on pc. Interesting to see what those studios will do for their next games. (15 Hours ago)
