Jane Jensen, known for her work on the Gabriel Knight series, is about to come back with the release of Gray Matter, a new dark adventure game. This new title has already been delayed a few times, and not long ago it was pushed back to February 2011. Thankfully, we just got word that the game will finally be available in France, Spain and Italy on December 2, on PC and Xbox 360. Germany, Switzerland, Austria should be next with a November 12 release (TBC), while the UK will have to wait until February 2011. We still do not know when the game will ship in North America. Here are a few images that were released a few weeks ago so you see what the game is all about. Update: We just learned that the game will have different release dates depending on the country due to differing production and localization time frames. We edited the above text to give you the proper information.

The game doesn't have to rely on cheap jump scares normally associated with traditional game design in VR. The immersion just does it automatically. It's something a normal TV can't compete with. (2 Hours ago)
the game should come with a warning and a disclaimer should you decide to play it in VR. As soon as you're there, it's extremely uncomfortable, even if nothing is happening. (2 Hours ago)
@alimokrane: Trust me on this, if immersion and horror is the aim here, and it is, then first person and VR makes perfect sense. I'm not joking when I say this... (2 Hours ago)
@alimokrane: The demo is tame compared to what I seen in the first 45 minutes. The atmosphere got ramped up big time, and don't be thinking you're safe behind closed doors or walls. (2 Hours ago)
@MrWhite: I know people prefer VR or first person view but if they were to patch 3rd person view, my life would be complete. (2 Hours ago)
