I rather want the promised multiplayer update...

yeah, that's the update I'm waiting for...I wanna race my friends. TV isn't really important to me it's a nice feature don't get me wrong but I wanna race my friends first and foremost. The current online set up is a bit of a joke to be honest.

new car sounds are amazing especially when you red line the Z06 and lift off the throttle, makes a nice sound.

so do you pay for this content? i like the idea of being able to watch top gear in HD...but not if i have to pay.

yeah you rent not own, and you get it for 2 weeks. it's 69p a vid for the first 2 weeks probably a pound after.

Top gears on tv every day so not botherd about that, bu I like the look of the japanese drifting shows, oh and it's the all series 6 of Top gear on GTTV the moment.

Are they ever going to release GT5 or has the demo now become the real game?

They'll continue working on things they want in GT5, and test them first in GT5P. So basically GT5 will only have 'more'.

They put out an update with new collision physics?? That would be excellent! The physics were the only thing holding me back from getting into GT again. I always hated how the cars just bumped off eachother. It always took away so much of the immersion of the game, especially being a "simulation".

The Update is also on the US version of the game i believe, although on the news section it says that the new pay per view shows have been delayed.... just got home so havent checked again...

After this update I feel it is easier to drive cars on profesional mode (I'm driving without systems and ABS). I don't know why (maybe it is me, or something else), but... it was harder to drive some cars before this update.

At the end of it all it looks like GT5 will end up costing the hardcore fans hundreds of bucks. I like the series but damn.

Yeah when I drove the amuze S2000 yesterday it felt much easier to drive (waaay less oversteer)
And it seems that the collision improvements are only online.

It's like Kazunori discovered the Korean MMO Model and had an Epiphany.
GT is Dead.

BTW This update also improved graphic. Tracks are now more detailed.

it's like they are polishing a rough diamond, (even though the graphics beat any other racer ) the cockpit are a lot smoother and all the dashboard self shadowing is super clean now.

In regards the physics it feels a bit more racey, but it's the car sound that's amazing. I had four or five cars around me online at the daytona ovel, and the noise was crazy, with surround sound I was blown away by it.

as long as they keep adding tweeks then it's the worlds greatest demo, because it's better than any full racer i've owned.
