Three main characters so Rockstar has released three trailers of Grand Theft Auto V, each focusing on one of the protagonists. The game is coming on September 17.
voice acting is top notch, story seems like would be better, in gta4 they involved family life but they failed to fulfill what they wanted to and fulfill our expectation but after watching these 3 trailers, i think they have worked on it and i hope they succeed this time.
But distance graphics and shadows are blurry, they need to work on that
Trevor one wont download, other 2 are cool. You put queen in your trailer and its instantly better. Hope its on the soundtrack too.

looks pretty nice graphically. but trevor is the only character there that appeals to me. the other 2 are far too similar to past GTA characters. trevor is unapologetically criminal. something GTA games tend to avoid. they always try to inject a "human/family/moral" element. so in that sense it looks quite fresh. but the game itself looks a bit boring. the action looks like stuff we've seen a million times before, and even the humour fell flat. could just be bad trailers? who knows. it's made me question my pre-order though.
None of the characters seems good. I am not seeing a game here, bit boring, like real life. Mission or tasks not sure I would like to do. Everything else looks top notch.

seriously? only the most anal could watch those and then complain about shadows!! Are you new to gaming?? appreciate how far things have come..look at how rich and alive that world looks. I cant wait to get in there and explore. And nobody writes characters better than Rockstar. Impressive.
Nobody can comment on how the game will play based on some trailers made from cut-scenes. All you can tell is it looks great for a game running on 8 year old technology. Rockstar have never disappointed me, and always manage to surprise me with new content/game mechanics.
I absolutely cannot wait for this to come out. I'm just as excited for this as I was for GTA IV. In fact, I'd say more so. I'll be playing Trevor because he looks like a crazy bastard muhahaha

I agree with this. The game looks a stunner. A lot - and I do mean a lot - of effort and talent has been put into this game. For a world to be as large and detailed as this is nothing short of a monumental achievement. It looks like every single aspect from 4 has been taken and given a drastic update in the way that they look.
The game is not like movie. It looks like a big TV series. Although it shows they have spent years in making this. Watch dogs seems more appealing in comparision.
The Franklin trailer looked awful, the other two, much better. The moment I hear rap music in anything, I immediately reach for the volume and/or the stop button.
I don't see why musical taste should come into it when judging the game. I don't like rap either, but for me the trailer showed how diverse the city is and how the environment and the people vary. In most games, they would call that DLC, but in this game it's part of the complete package.
Because they're appealing to the masses. Most gamers are guys. Most guys chose to play as guys, even when given the choice. I wouldn't object to a female protagonist, but i don't care that there has never been one (not counting the female characters in GTA1)
Story wise have to admit doesn't look too interesting, but to be honest for me anyway gta is about so much more than story. So this is still a day one purchase.

Bingo, rap and hiphop music is all too common and typical, playing to the same tunes. What this game could use is a chick more for the group, a diamond thief or something. you know, something compared to the sausage fest going on here.

LOL I love it when GTA gets described as "boring". It's not chess, it's not Minesweeper, it's not a train or truck driving simulator. It's free for all madness. How on Earth can that be boring?
