Wtf is wrong with Neversoft and their character designers. The characters always looked fucked up in the Tony Hawk series and even does here in Guitar Hero. Look at the faces... bah, looks terrible. Rock Bands graphical design looks like heaven in comparison.

Although you probably can create a pretty ok looking character when you have the game. Its pretty typical american developers (and press) to create the ugliest characters they can in their own videos. Just like when Saints Row came otu and everyone chosed green hair and stuff:p

So for the drums i get it, but how do you make your guitar riffs and stuff in the editor?

The character designs do look pretty horrible.

But lets be honest, 99% of the time you're playing this game, you won't know or care about how your character looks, you'll just be playing (or singing!) notes.

I think I'm going to get this game anyway. And use the shiney new guitar to play GH2 and 3.

Well I have to admit GH:WT is starting to look pretty good after all, even though GH3 and GH:Aerosmith were pretty horrible. I'm liking the look of the music studio and I hope it will be versatile enough to do some great homemade stuff.

About the character models (and faces), seriously... Rock Band ones are good? Ugh... don't get much more androgynous than those. And like RC_Master said, this isn't a dress up game. I'm sure you can make yourself a rocker that you can live with.

I hope, despite all these additions, that the engine is solid and the new peripherals can actually take some abuse.
