Bungie and Microsoft released this brand new ViDoc about the upcoming Legendary Map Pack for Halo 3. And as always, it's very well done and also very interesting!
Great video from the guys over a Bungie. 1 & 3 maps will be the most played maps online for sure.
Map #2 (Avalanche) will be good for BTB (slayer/CTF etc) for you vechile lovers..
Seems much cooler than the first map pack. At least Ghost Town and Blackout do. Too bad I'm spending my points on Ikaruga instead. Maybe later...(like, when they're free) ^_^

You can bet that Avalanche and Blackout will be more popular than that first map (as I don't think Bungie can come up with new excelent maps after the letdown of the originals and the first DLC).
Oh, and I'm gonna purchase them, I guess. Quite certain that Blackout can be played a lot more frequent on the new MLG playlist than in the others (since most of the people playing it will buy it). Tho I must admit that I don't quite like what Bungie have done to the remake of Lockout, a few shooting lanes are missing... that was really the whole point of that map...

It was to easy to setup in H2 on this map and control everything, maybe people will have to move around to get kills.
They all look friggin aweseome... and I'm pretty sure that maps 2 & 3 will be.
With Halo 3, i kinda lost my faith in Bungie to make good NEW MP maps. And since maps 2 and 3 are just rehashings, they will probably be slightly above any of their other originals for Halo 3.
Almost all of the maps in Halo 2 were great, but most of the ones in Halo 3 are just okay, nothing special. Maybe these maps will restore some of my love for Halo.
Still not going to drop any money on them though. I'll be eagerly awaiting the day they're free. If I still play Halo by then. ;)

All together I am impressed with the Legendary Map Pack, they all look the dogs balls and it's cool how they are adding extras with Forge as well.
