Heavenly Sword: Mocap with Andy Serkis

Heavenly Sword: Mocap with Andy Serkis

Sony released this video showing Andy Serkis performance during the Motion Capture recording of Heavenly Sword. This should make some nice cutscenes :)

This site really needs an influx off Xbox owners to spice things up!

Holy crap, he was really starting to freak me out at the end there. And he was almost starting to slip into Golum mode.

They said in an interview at Gamers Day that the "sacred genitals" bit isn't going to make it into the final game. I don't know if that means the whole scene or what.

This is a year old clip (at least almost), it surfaced the web in maybe July 2006, or August.

The funny (or not-so-funny) thing is, the King isn't even the craziest character in the game, that honor goes to someone else (a character we apparently haven't seen yet). There's someone even more twisted & sick than the King.

And yeah, the sacred genitals part won't be in the game. Though, they did say some other equally silly lines did get in.

I thought I'd seen this but I hadn't.. not in its entirety. Very good performance indeed, and one of those rare occasions when you really get to watch someone get into their role. Even more impressive is the fact that it truly comes across in the CG character's performance aswell. I hope the King gets his due screen time in the final game.

They really should give awards for digital performances like Andy's. He gives stronger digital performances than alot of people give real performances in hollywood.

About the game

What's up?
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker If you have an Xbox One and still not sure about Mass Effect Andromeda or just want to try it out for ten hours on March 16.....EA Access 1 month is now 1,79GBP (13 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog they should probably beef up their PSVR production though at least a little. before people get tired of waiting. again, some places have them readily available. others have non. (56 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog not manufacturing 40 million and expecting to sell every unit. lol. (57 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @MrWhite: they haven't. in some places it's been sold out, much like PSVR. they're clearly playing it safe with both. realistic expectation basically. (58 minutes ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite Couple of million wouldn't be bad numbers. I don't think they've made a surplus amount of them in any case. Similar with the PSVR. (59 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog i'd assume it's sold a couple million worldwide. i can't imagine it's setting the world on fire. (1 Hour ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @MrWhite: they released NPD numbers i think a while back. black friday maybe? i think it was something like 40% of the sales of that month were pro. 60% was slim... (1 Hour ago)
