I'm just back from Hironobu Sakaguchi's press conference at the Japan Expo near Paris, and as expect there wasn't much new announced there. Blue Dragon will be released as expected at the end of August everywhere. Lost Odyssey is about 80 % done and will be finished in about 3 months, they are now working on the game balance. It will be released at the end of the year in Japan and in the english speaking countries (USA and UK too), but the other territories will have to wait until a few weeks later in Q1 2008. It will be localized in 8 languages and released in 22 countries. I'll have a very short interview with Sakaguchi tomorrow afternoon, where I'll hopefully be able to know a bit more about Lost Odyssey.
My Witcher 3 experience: Kill entire horde of men, loot chicken sandwiches. (6 minutes ago)
Games like Project Gotham 4, Halo 3, and Gears over Live are some of the most memorable things I've ever experienced in gaming. A gaming system just about its games. Great. What happened? (1 Hour ago)
The thing that made the 360 amazing was Xbox Live. MS have since done a good job of fucking that up too. Party chat killed it for me. (1 Hour ago)
But yeah, I'm also struggling to think of a big game that spawned a identifiable IP for the Xbox brand only other than Gears (even if it's on PC) (1 Hour ago)
Kameo is a great game. Probably Rare's last one. (1 Hour ago)
@KORNdog: Masssive, nah. But Kameo's a great game. (1 Hour ago)
