I'm just back from Hironobu Sakaguchi's press conference at the Japan Expo near Paris, and as expect there wasn't much new announced there. Blue Dragon will be released as expected at the end of August everywhere. Lost Odyssey is about 80 % done and will be finished in about 3 months, they are now working on the game balance. It will be released at the end of the year in Japan and in the english speaking countries (USA and UK too), but the other territories will have to wait until a few weeks later in Q1 2008. It will be localized in 8 languages and released in 22 countries. I'll have a very short interview with Sakaguchi tomorrow afternoon, where I'll hopefully be able to know a bit more about Lost Odyssey.
@Moonwalker: The design is pretty much locked down 18 months before a console hits the shelves. you can change things like voltage, frequency and the amount of system memory, but not the APU design. (11 minutes ago)
@Melmoth: exactly. They're just "confirming" stuff we knew. They're just feigning knowledge so they're first. (13 minutes ago)

and things like "rasterisation efficiency improves as resolution increases".. which is standard stuff. (15 minutes ago)
what's talked about in the eurogamer seems most like info already out there in one way or another, like hardware features that were introduced in the polaris, and the ms e3 slides. (17 minutes ago)
@GriftGFX: Enjoyed BF1 for a short period of time but it's one of my least played games in the series. Uninstalled it late november. (17 minutes ago)
@KORNdog: Well they were right about the switch, so.. (29 minutes ago)
