Hitman: Legacy Opening Cinematic

Hitman: Legacy Opening Cinematic

The Sanguine Fashion Show in Paris from Hitman happens 20 years after the prologue. To bridge that gap, Square Enix has released this cinematic that takes you through iconic moments of the franchise. The beta will be re-opened on March 4th for PlayStation Plus members while the game will launch on March 11th.

Oh yeah, that debut trailer music for Blood Money was also epic. Actually just about anything by Jesper Kyd will do. :)
Which is sadly another reason why this game will never truly be great (and that's even without all the self assassination the devs and Square Enix have already done to it).

Im not a big fan of Jesper Kyd, he uses the same music style across the board of various games and doesnt change it based on the setting/fiction. Some of his Assassins Creed music sounds like its from Hitman and Kane & Lynch, and his Darksiders 2 music sounds like its from AC, hitman and kane and lynch lol. Samething with Inon Zur.

cool CGI. didn't like the voice over monologue or the music.

The sushi assassination is from the first game iirc.

The violinist assassination is like one from Blood Money

How different the tastes are... I liked the music alot and found it fits to the trailer. Maybe not thinking about what other music it would be great with is what enables one to enjoy the music that is there.
Apart from that, really good CGI, yep.

I love the art direction in these. It's hard to beat the announcement trailer, but it's still great. Also, another rogue assassin? We've already killed one in Blood Money.

it almost sounds like he's a victim wanting revenge rather then a rogue assassin. but maybe i'm wrong.

About the game

What's up?
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @KORNdog: Speaking of Spiders, I finished Technomancer yesterday. Fun game but dragged down by WAY too much backtracking and lack of different locations. (49 minutes ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @KORNdog: I'm not far enough into the game yet but I heard the game world is very interesting and full of great quests with multiple choices. Those kinda things sound great to me. (51 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog i honestly think they'd do better making something on a smaller scale. like an isometric action RPG. that spiders (developer) could do with going that direction too. (1 Hour ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @Moonwalker: it just looks like a typical game from them to me. like they bit off more than they can chew and the results are just mediocrity across the board. (1 Hour ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @KORNdog: the facial animations are bullshit yes, animations in general are passable, combat isn't nearly as bad as I expected though. The world so far has been great, very very nice indeed. (1 Hour ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @Moonwalker: it still looks all kinda of garbage though. lol (2 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker tearing was horrible, not to mention loading times. Plus it really doesn't look too bad either. Trees and foliage swaying in the wind, nice lighting. Good job PB. course all the jank is still there :) (2 Hours ago)
