Crysis 2 owns any FPS so far IMO, the way the gameplay works is perfectly suited for my playstyle.
About Homefront, I would be lying if I wasent a bit interested in it.
I mean, its MAG + Frontlines + Battlefield with MW2 gunplay (the feel ofthe weapons).
Yeaaah people are setting themselves up for disappointment. I still don't understand how people are extrapolating this from these trailers. It's not going to feel like MW2 at all.
I seen couple of videos of the leaked version, SP and MP, I think I know how to identify something when it looks and gives the same vibe similair to another game, which is MW2.
There is a reason why other people are saying this, they are getting the same impression.
Just because you cant see it doesnt mean its not true.
Edit: To be specifc, I mean how the animations for reloading and the bob of the weapons.
Well thats the impression I am getting at.
And the text font is obviously MW2-like.
The rest, nothing like CoD at all, which I didnt say.

As it shouldn't. The devs say they're aping Half Life 2, not any generic soldier game.
Visually it's well behind the curve though. Looks like a very early 360 title at best.
Please Gamersyde, tell me you guys are doing an official review of Homefront.
I was at PAX this weekend, and got to talk to more than a few editors from the press. And seeing as Homefront was coming out next week, I asked almost everyone if they had played the reviewable yet, and what were their opinions of it (without giving away the score, or anything). And every last editor I talked to, told me they loved the game. They would not go into it any further than that, for those details, I'd have to read their reviews.
My point being, with so many know-it-all trolls out there, already trying to bash and dismiss this game without even giving it a try, one more voice to set them straight about the error of judging books by covers, would be very welcome indeed.
