Hour of Victory: Multiplayer

Hour of Victory: Multiplayer

Midway just sent us these 4 images and a long video of the multiplayer mode of Hour of Victory. Will it be enough to make us forget about the terribly average demo?

"That demo was the biggest pile of horse shit i have ever played!!!"

Well it wasn't that shit, this isn't a good game but it's still better than Tenchu Z ;).

Pepe, yep you will get banned, take it from me :S.

Anyway, I tihnk there is a demo out on marketplace so we all can judge the game individually of how it is.

The game wasen't that bad, I didn't think so anyways.

But I won't be buying any WW2 games, or its a maybe until Brothers of Arms Hells Highway comes with a DEMO, other than that no.

i always thought right from the beginning that this game wouldn't be good. even when they said there will be 3 different classes to choose from, i thought, wow they are now going to add somthing we seen so many times in every other game but adding it to a WWII game that we've seen so many times. developers need to start thinking of somthing new if they are going to make a game about WWII

Worst use of UE3 yet seen. Utterly atrocious.

Even Frame City Killer (RIP) had originality going for it.

The guy that got bouleted had a point. If that demo was average then we are in big trouble.

Looks Horrid... So last-gen, especially teh lighting. Hard to believe this is UE3. Just goes to show once again that the engine isn't everything when it comes to graphics.

I don't know what possessed these guys to, not only to make ANOTHER WWII shooter, but sour the good name of the UE3 engine in the process. HoV is pretty daym awful!

i have played the demo and this game is so boring... the fights are way to slow and without action...

Well, i might say from what i saw from the demo, this is certainly not "the biggest pile of horse shit i have ever played" but for sure way bellow average. And let's face it, with so many uber super games coming our way, who want's to spend his valuable time (work, friends, girlfriend...) playing below average stuff? I tell you one person that doesn't, me!

I have no courage to download that demo... I think that it's not Hour of Victory, but rather Hour of Disturbance :P

Wierd those screenshots make it look arse but I remember the demo to have pretty nice graphics.

The demo was totally foooking crap . I remember being stood there shooting a funny looking guy for nearly five minuets before he decided to die , absolutely totally rubbish i couldn't tell who was good or bad they all looked the same - :*(

Yeah it did control like crap until I turned up the look sensitivity to almost full.
I just played the demo again last night just to make sure I wasn't imagining, when I thought the graphics were pretty decent.

I have to give them some credit on the animations, they do look pretty nice and I like the motion sway similar to Killzone when running.

Art direction does suck but graphics using the Unreal3 engine do give the character models and world models some nice normal mapping.

I almost feel sorry for the developer because they are bringing out a WW2 shooter just when no one really wants one.

GriftGFX the terminal AI. And also from audio clips you can find in some of the levels. it's not a heavy narrative but it's well written. Though provoking game. (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Yeah it's truncated into worlds and sorta sub-worlds like that. There's a narrator that provides a *little* narrative.. but some of it is discovered through reading terminal logs and interacting with (1 Hour ago)
