The following image has hit the web, and according to a developer at Ninja Theory it's actually an image that shows how the game should look like at the release. It's supposed to be from a realtime cutscene, slighly touched up, and it's really really impressive as you'll see for yourself inside.

Yes sure he's saying that, he's the developer of the game. but My eyes are telling me differently and I sure as hell will be stunned if they will pull this off! We'll see.

I gotta agree with Alimo...the fact that they tried to say thats realtime made me laugh...and I liked how this game was coming along too, why would they have to lie? Compare the screens...

what? I know I said unless they added like a million polygons to her model since the last preview/build. And with the huge environments and tons of other characters on the screen at once, theres no way they could.

I don't find it very hard to believe at all that this is in-game. If any of you guys know anything about pc stuff, you'll know that gpu manufacturers have used tech demos of that quality and better to show the power of the hardware. Seeing as the ps3 uses an overclocked 7800gtx, this seems very possible. Especially if they use higher quality models for the cutscenes, which is an actual tactic. It was used in resident evil: code veronica.

O yea, and don't forget that nobody has really seen this game since E3. There's no telling how far they've advanced the graphics.

What you're referring to are CGI Cinematics which have nothing to do with the game engine and the same is applicable here. The picture in this thread is CGI and no developer can fool me with their crap. They really didnt have to do this. The game as I said was looking ubelievable already and then they go and spit this lie ..... Na Na Not cool at all Ninja Theory!

The build from the last video we saw is from November 2006 if I'm not wrong.

Anyway this is the cutscene model, In-game of course will not boost all this quality.

No, actually what I'm referring to is real time technical demonstrations of what modern GPUs are capable of. I'm not talking about CG. If you want an Idea of what I'm talking about, go to ATI or Nvidia's website and look for their demos. They all run in real time and are downloadable. But seeing as you have no idea what I'm talking about you probably don't have the hardwar to run any of the newer demos so you'll just have to watch the videos. Cmon man. You really think I'd let myself go by AMDman if I didn't know what I was talking about?
