Electronic Arts released these images and this artwork of Battlefield Bad Company. I guess you've already seen most if not all of them elsewhere, but still it looks as good as ever!

Last year tri-Ace revealed it was working on an untitled RPG for the Xbox 360, and today finally the first, scant, details emerge in the latest Famitsu issue. After its latest Valkyrie Profile for Square Enix, tri-Ace is getting its feet wet with a fantasy based RPG titled Infinite Undiscovery, which will use the developers typical real time combat system.

...and from a nice guy named jasper:

Famitsu also had an interview with Sakaguchi, some highlights (stolen from Gaf):

- In the opening movie for Lost Odyssey you can seamlessly input commands for the battle scene.
- Combat is not action driven but command menu driven.
- The playable demo lasts for 40-60 minutes.
- The final game will have even higher quality than the demo.
- The modeling for the movies are almost identical to the realtime models.
- Inoue (the character designer) is personally checking all the models.
- The demo's battles will just the most basic part of the system. The more indepth systems will be excluded.
- The character growth systems and so on will be in the final game only.
- Surviving enemies inherit the powers of those who are killed.
- Since the main character cannot die either there will not be a possibility of game over.
- The final game will use a physics engine.
- The final text message on the playable demo was written by Shigematsu (scenario writer for the various short stories that make up the game).
- Lost Odyssey will be playable at TGS, with the demo disc being released with Famitsu in early November.
- Lost Odyssey will be out in 2007.
- Blue Dragon will DEFINITELY be released within 2006.
- ASH is being targeted for the first half of 2007.
- There will be more titles being announced from Mistwalker.

There hasn't been a decent Battlefield on consoles yet, and there doesn't seem to be any reason to believe that this release will buck that trend.

Yeah after what they did to BF2 on the 360 I don't have much hope for this. Too bad they insist on 'consolizing' everything.

I'll probably be shot down for this but the first and third image are near killzone 2 "real in game footage" quality.
Lets hope the gameplay is better than the first one though.

Well, these images are lacking AA, and in the Killzone 2 demonstration the character models had a lot higher poly counts.

what it comes to BF2, dice is indeed "bad company". Specially clan match mode was total joke. Not to mention laggy EA servers whit horrible "fysics". No wonder they focus on singleplayer on this one.

About the game

What's up?
  • aphex187
aphex187 71k on H1Z1 KoK! That is one monumental turnaround for Daybreak right there!!! On another note, matchmaking on R6 is just awful 2day (1 Hour ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker I've decapitated, sliced their legs off, beheaded them, but they keep coming back to fight me. So yeah cool that he wants revenge on me, I dig that system but please just stay dead. (2 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker I'm playing Shadow of Mordor and am I doing something wrong? Because these Orcs keep coming back from the dead and it's starting to become pretty damn annoying, let alone repetitive. (2 Hours ago)

  • nostradamus
nostradamus **** it, forget about half this JJ (Japan Junk), go hunt kickstarter indie projects like Narita Boy and so much promising stuff there. The world has moved on from JJ to fill any decent diverse catalog (4 Hours ago)
  • nostradamus
