Images and Artworks of 1942

1942: Joint Strike has just been announced, but we already get images, artworks and even a video within a few minutes. Now this is a game title I wasn't expecting to see again, and I'm quite delighted.
Update: Trailer is up.

I'm not super thrilled by this either. Should have retained more of the look of the original, which wasn't incredibly colorful, but more colorful than this for sure!

I think it looks pretty good. What is wrong with the camera angle?

Take away the lightning beams and add a touch more of detail and this game would rock the sox

I think gamersyde members hate shoot em ups. That or they haven't played the original.

Wow, maybe they could add a little more bloom and blur! Honestly, this looks like a joke to me.

Uh yeah, sweet nostalgy ^^
Hehehe, this is cool, looks promising and fun. Just hope it will be bigger than the original.

What's old is new again. They should really include some of the original franchise into some sort of package though. That'd be killer.

Depending on how much space this takes up on a disc, they might. Or it will be re-released like capcom's other games to include the original and other features.

What's up?
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer oh yea that, Dragon Age was preloading at the time (3 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Maybe.. it's different for pre-loaded stuff too. (3 Hours ago)
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer @GriftGFX: well Dragon age extracted is suppose to be arround 20 gigs but the download was only 8 gigs or 15 gigs...procedure might be different for newer games (3 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX 45 minutes for this game would have to be like... 3+ megabytes per second. My Comcast can't do that. (4 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX My FFOW DL is almost 12.9 gigs and like 95% done. (4 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Steam appears to download extracted and installed, there's no install process once you finish downloading a game. (4 Hours ago)
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer D2D file right now is 9.2 GB's. I think it was less when I was downloading it (now its extracted) I am pretty sure Steam works the same way. 12 gb is probably the extracted size :P (4 Hours ago)
