Konami released this "new" trailer of Rumble Roses XX, along with these images presenting a few costums of this high class game.

I'm not sure this is a game I would ever buy, but it definitely looks great. Kudos to Konami as this game has come quite nicely in the graphics department recently.

I think the pace is too slow for a fighting game, for sure. That's probably what some are confusing with bad animation.

why are we even mentioning DOA4 in the same sentence of this? i just got DOA4 today and that video is soo clunky... DOA4 wold only look like that if you were to shoot your xbox 360 with several times while it was dying..

You have to take into account that DOA4 uses the 360's power for more than jiggly butt physics. DOA4 runs at a constant 60fps with no loading time in-between matches. And notice the extremely detailed, multi-tiered environments. RRXX just has a few wrestling rings. But yeah, the characters in RRXX do look good. Still, when you compare this trailer to DOA4's intro video it's clear that DOA4 is a much more interesting game.

That girl doesnt have detailed expressions.......... Her face looks the same on all the pictures except for the last one, and thats only because she closed her eyelids

I think Konami knows exactly which audience they're selling to with this one.

Has anyone noticed that each trailer they released gets progressivly more slutty? With more butt/cleavage shots each time?

And I agree that while the models look good, the animations needs some work to make it look more fluid.

It's not worth the arguing, but you're being too harsh on this game. The animations need a little work, but not as much as you seem to be suggesting. DOA has similar issues, but the pacing is so fast that you don't really notice them or care. It seems more pronounced here, but it's the "pacing" that's giving it away.

It's obvious that the creators have paced this much slower to go along with the game style. More time to stop and smell the roses. It's not about the cool moves, it's about the sights and sounds.

I think the texture work and lighting need more work than the animations do. That should pretty the game up a bit more and make a bigger impact.
