Are you sure this isn't the Wii version?

Wii Version? Washy textures, no bump mapping... looks like the ps2 version

This was reviewed by the UK based Playr TV show over the weekend (replacement of Gamer TV on Bravo). They really liked it and gave it 8/10. Looks like they have implemented some nice rhythm action bits for some disciplines too.

Something looks wrong there. It does look like someone's blown up a low-res pic. Usually when it's just low-res textures but a native screenie the text and HUD still look very sharp, but they just don't here.

Ugly... maybe its better in motion, though

Looked way better on PlayrTV (PS3 version was shown), this does not do it justice!

Tbh it looks bloody fantastic (from the programme) and reminds me of the old Summer/Winter games on the C64 (and theres skeet shooting ala hyper sports woohoo!).

So the first pic is bad. The rest seems ok, for an olympic game...

GriftGFX FFA deathmatch is pretty fun in OW even though it's totally not balanced. Great Tracer practice. (13 Hours ago)

KORNdog The Orville episode 3 was amazing. Very heavy topic but handled it extremely well. (13 Hours ago)

GriftGFX I wasn't really setting up any specific comparison at all. I said modern phones and many PCs. That's pretty vague. You can set whatever limits on that you want. (14 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Granted.. synthetic benchmarks are just that.. but in Geekbench 4 a Snapdragon 835 can outperform a Q9550.. which is definitely faster than the E6600. (14 Hours ago)

GriftGFX My personal history of personal computing goes back to 8-bit computers. I think 2017 ARM CPUs are amazing. (14 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @droezelke: I said E6600.. and its single core performance in synthetic benchmarks is certainly comparable. But yes. You can go back to the 80s. I didn't say anything about them being modern. (14 Hours ago)
