Images of Bionic Commando

Capcom reveals three new images for Bionic Commando, first entry for actual consoles from a classic launched as an arcade title in 1987. Developed for the PC, Playstation and Xbox 360 by GRIN, its story takes place ten years after the events from the Nintendo NES entry with main character Nathan Spencer, voiced by Mike Patton which happens to be one of my favorite singer, praise Mr. Bungle! Sorry, I derailed the news. At least you know something more about me I guess.

Looking good, also like the deformation of the buildings.

I like the look of it for sure.

2 things I do not like.

The "head" of Nathan (main character) with the whole dreadlocks thing, and the soldiers outfits.

But other than that its all good. Somehow though the main character have growned on me, the outfit he has is very cool. And the soldiers looks decent enough to be worthy to be killed by me :).

The animations (especially the running) is great, reminds me of Lost Planet which also was from Capcom. Looks so smooth and real.

Imo the look isnt that good :/ And the destoyed buildings seem like plain textures instead of having real deformations.

This is already looking better than the previous batch of media they released IMO.

Repeating window textures are so 2005.

I thought Capcom said they were getting rid of the dreds? What happened?

They didn't say that, atleast to my knowledge.

They said they might redo the hair to something else, its in its early stages.

I do hope they don't change the outfit on him, looks very cool.
Its just the "head" that is a bit off.
He just don't look like a commando guy, more like a DJ from a night club.

Yum!

I love the little details on the character, very nice! Nice use of HDR and bloom over the buildings, adds to the atmosphere.

I'll be getting this, I remember playing the arcade game, it's a blast!

About the game

What's up?
  • Nietzsche
Nietzsche What bothers me most is it truly is creating gambling habits in small kids that also play these games (4 Hours ago)
  • Nietzsche
Nietzsche @KORNdog: exactly, it’s nothing short of predatory. It’s literally using reasearch about the chemical reactions of the human brain to get people to spend more money than they want to (4 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog They want you spending hundreds amassing a room full of dollar store garbage while you search out a t-shirt that actually looks like it wasnt designed by a monkey, (4 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog I don't like lootcrate/nerd block for the same reasons. Yes you MIGHT get something cool, but that glimmer of hope is exactly what those companies are exploiting. (4 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog But obviously thats just a single pay ent pirchase. Pubs want you spending weekly unlocking content you might not not even want or need. (4 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @Nietzsche: i agree. There os no justifiable reason to have the randomised element of loot boxes. The stuff should just be avalible in a store and you pay for what you want. (4 Hours ago)
  • Nietzsche
Nietzsche but I do think overwatch does it in a much less harmful way than most others (6 Hours ago)
