Bladestorm: The Hundred Years' War is a strategy videogame developed for the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360. You can choose between two kingdoms, England or France, with their unique characters such as Edward the Black Prince or Jeanne D'Arc. Furthermore, it has more eye candy than Dynasty Warriors even if it is more a Kessen than anything else. Will be available November 2, 2007.

I played the Japanese demo and the cutscenes were pretty impressive. Wish I could say the same for the gameplay. Then again I had no idea what I was doing.

Does look quite bad compared to something like Ninety Nine Nights. That had shiny bummapped armor on at least twice that amount of enemies with rarely a hiccup. This has flat PS2 non-shader textures (I kid you not).

With games like these you either have to eat your next-gen hat and pull out the "its the game that counts" super special hat, or turn your back in disgust.

Though this is not the worst example in this genre, Dynasty Warriors deserves a beating more than this.
