Images of Bullet Witch

Images of Bullet Witch

Atari released these images of Bullet Witch, which always is a joy to watch in 720p. It'll be interesting to see how the game sells here in the west, I'm sure it will be better received than in Japan at least (le duh?).

the game looks alot better in motion

I enjoyed the screen shots more than I enjoyed seeing the game in motion. It was the worst frame rate I'd ever seen. I couldn't understand. It's not like the game's visuals tax the hardware.

some of the screens do look quite good. But a few of the are really not impressive at all. Looking back, I thought the game seemed to be alot of fun, but sadly it got pretty bad scores by the reviewers. Maybe the developer have had abit of time to improve the title. Time will tell.

This game looks better and better every time it's shown. Definitely a true next-gen game now, and it's looking more and more like my beloved Gunvalkyrie every day.

Ive read that it is extremely repetitive and boring. And that the camera system is horrible.... i still want to at least rent it though.

This game was just a warmup for cavia's real game Cry On which would make sense why these experimented with physics in this game ;)

Cry On is suppose to be a game that is rather heavy on the physics as well.

Hmm, I didn't know that Cry On will be heavy on physics. Isn't that an rpg game that will be developed by Cavia and the Mistwalker team? I've heard good things about that project, but nothing up to date.

How was the games story and character? She looked pretty cool from the trailers that are out. I'm willing to give this title a shot. Hopefully it'll be good!

why everyone's posts have been so optimistic so far is beyond me...this game looks like complete and utter shit, and should be treated as such, shame on atari for bringing this trash to america to spoil the 360's lineup in its home country

I have the Japanese version, and it's pretty much all-around "meh." If someone asked me to give a review for the game, I'd do it in one word: "meh."

Given, the character designs are pretty cool, but the gameplay is just boring. Doing the same spells after the 50th time just isn't as exciting anymore.

I hope Atari really spruced this one up!

About the game

Sdarts The Witcher games - and books - aren't perfect, but nothing is. For what they are and what they have accomplished, I thank both the author and the developers from the bottom of my heart. (6 minutes ago)

Sdarts And it ran for years under the radar of almost everyone before the anime, then it suddenly became an enourmous worldwide success. In a way, the same happened with The Witcher books and the games. (8 minutes ago)

Sdarts @Megido: Just because certain works aren't very popular doesn't mean that they aren't great. Take for example Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan), the manga is even better than the anime. (8 minutes ago)

Sdarts @GriftGFX: English. And also listened to them in English. Same with Game of Thrones' books. (9 minutes ago)

Sdarts Although the games' writing isn't at the same level as the books', it's still far, far, far vastly better than 99% of the writing in games, movies, TV shows and books. CD Projekt RED did an epic job. (10 minutes ago)

GriftGFX @Sdarts: Cool.. what language did you read them in? (10 minutes ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts @GriftGFX: From someone who read and even listened to all The Witcher books before playing the games. The books are on par with The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and Harry Potter books imho. (10 minutes ago)
