What's wrong with the main character being a woman? Tomb Raider did it, BloodRayne did it, along with a handful of FPS games, I don't recall any of those games' shortcomings ever being because the lead was female.

And I think this game looks incredible... Clive Barker rocks!

This is really sick. I wonder why some developers think the more gore and violence they pack in a game the more they sell from that. OK I understand that Clive Barker is Horror so it has to be like that.
But don't like that development these days. Every parents shoud watch closely what their kids are gaming with. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed GoW a lot but I'm afraid that now some Games are going over the top.

If my 'kid' were 18, they could play whatever they wanted. You do know that as an adult you can decide what you do and don't want to see? If they weren't 18 they wouldn't be playing GOW or this..

I think in this game you have psychic abilities or something so you can take control of any of your party... so you might just be controlling one of the women in the party.

Sure, as adults we can play any game we want.. But I come accross plenty of kids way younger then 18 playing violent games online.. Just last week I got a 9 year old kid in my co-op session playing Crackdown, and I didn't know what to think of it really.. Tbh I felt he shouldn't be allowed to play games like that..

Games nowadays are more & more aimed towards the adult gamers (the gaming generation is getting older), yet many young kids get exposed to them aswell.. That could be a problem.. I mean you're not letting your 9 year old watch porn aswell do you?

are u guys debating wether 18 is the appropriate age to play adult games because i think it depends on the maturing of an individual i know friends who are less than 18 yet violate games have no negative effects on them.

Offtopic slighty but regarding age, I was on the bus the other day and family was sitting at the back having an argument, when the dad went shut the fuck up to the mum, the kid who couldnt of been more than 4, turned round slapped the dad on the arm and said shut the fuck up back. What is the world coming to!

I wasnt interested in this game until I found out it was a FPS with a horror theme. Very cool idea. Should be a blast.

You play as multiple characters in the game. Sometimes you're a woman, sometimes you're a man.

really? seriously? porn isn't like crackdown, crackdown is a cartoony looking game with some explosions. Kids play with toys which they pretend that they them run into a gas tank and explode. Oh and, your never to young to play a horror game unless ur a toddler (and thats because their reflexes are too slow to shoot the monster in the dome), just how mature you are can decide if your ready or not.

Call Of Cthulhu : The Dark Corners Of The Earth is FANTASTIC and noone(i think) played it. It's a real masterpiece of horror genre and much more serious and stylish then Res Evil 4, but who cared...

You say nothing about the movie industry, which goes primarily unquestioned for whatever ridiculous reason. Often times it's much worse than video games. Take a look at Saw III. Why are video games targeted? Pretty much every form of human entertainment is sprinkled with violence and gore. It's in our nature.

So for future reference, don't target video games, that's ignorant. Target human nature, please.
