Page 1 2 >>This game will be crazy. The first one wasn't scary at all for me, but I love that it was one crazy freak show (I'm a huge fan of Clive Barker's Books of Blood) and now the company is even more interesting:)
Is the PS3 version running in some kind of monochrome mode? The lack of colors is disturbing.
But overall its looking better
Yeah. WTF?
The first game was monochromatic when Ethan had visions. It's probably the same here. Still, PS3 version does seem to look a bit worse.
Those don't look like visions.

NOW : I WANT THIS GAME !!
So how much longer can the developers hide behind the fact that every multiplatform title that comes out, it will look noticeably better on the 360?
What it really equals - is gimmick.
The silent hill series has been creating disturbing textures for the games atmosphere for years with little to no post-color correction done. I have a feeling what you're seeing there, in fact I'm almost possitive has nothing to do with the textures themselves and more to do with overall colorizing.
Actually they do, the guy does look like some sort of nosferatu whasoever, and you have black areas in the corners (which aren't present in the 360 screens). Although it doesn't seem to have the same grain filter Condemned 1 visions had.
Whatever the case, it's obvious whoever is taking the captures is displeased...
cant wait for this game.
There's clearly no AA in the PS3 screens, so they don't look identical.
Lol. Do you honestly pay that much attention to AA during a game? I don't cause I'm focused on killing an enemy most of the time, but that is just me.
Oh well, there's always the 10-15fps option they used for Condemned 1, or back to the 128x128 texture option they used for all the FEAR console versions.
But since these are downscaled semi bullshots (what else is new), the texture mip levels and resolutions cant be trusted.
You spend more time wandering than you do fighting in Condemned, and the last thing you want when you're trying to build an atomosphere is a wall that seems to have 100 edges, rather than 1.

And wow, PS3 just got pwned hard by these screens, too. That's just weird, cuz I remember a time when Sony said PS3 games would eclipse anything 360 could do. lol, what a world we live in!
Can't wait for this game!!!!!!!
